Do you feel that you are agree with what you did in your life till now or (in some how) you don't remember every thing.
In another word, do you think that this life is not the main thing for the human?

Neither.

I do not regret anything I have ever done.... but then nor am I particularly elated by my own existence.

I am what I am, no more and no less, and I am content with that... once again, no more and no less.

It's a funny thing about life. If we have our mind too much into it, we are pushed about by every wind. When we realize we are aware of what we think and we are not what we think, then we can view our thoughts like in a movie. We can control things from that vantage point. If we are too into the movie we become subject to it very much and can't think straight, for instance. That explains the saying, "He who would gain his 'life' must lose it." We can have a great life here and that is what scripture is all about, gaining life now and a hope for the future. The present is always the main thing. The present, done well, makes the future great also, but the future does not exist now and who knows what difficulties it may bring. Thankfulness is based on finding the good now and then we can hardly see the bad. "God is too pure to behold evil." Evil is the word live spelled backwards. To live backwards is to die backwards and no better than the present. Living right, there is no better time then now, even if we judge it as not good, we just have to reverse our thinking to see our salvation being worked out and the joy now in seeing our power to overcome, now, emotionally and intellectually. God said, "I am", not I will be. Time is a concept of man. The eternal happening of now is all there is. The future is in the now, in a sense. That's the spiritual side of scriptures and brings life, "the letter kills." and negativity is only a perspective and not too real a one at that. Stuff like that. lol

It varies by the day. I have depression, sometimes severe, so my negative emotions can get the best of me.

But I still have some sense of reason. Life is a miracle, and I think that suicide is an abuse of the privilege to exist. I am satisfied to be alive, even if I cannot feel it.
