I believe that the end of the world is very near!
I know that it is written that no man will know the "day, or hour" but it would be over-reading to assume that this also means we cannot know the Year, Month or even the week. I feel that the last days of 2012 will also be "the last days".
I also feel that I am "ready" for it. I had certain experiences, strange and some may say "supernormal experiences" which told me what to expect in some detail. I also take that to suggest that "I am ready." When this happened I began to pay attention and as far as I can see NOW (being the second year of the final seven) does seem to embody the descriptions given of "end days". If you want to be ready too...hurt no man! Not by hand or heart or vote!!! Amon

No, its not. Being a Roman Catholic i definitely believe that the day of judgement is never near for people who believe that they do good things in their life and never did any bad things in the society. So better ask yourself ,"Are you ready to face the other world, with what you do today?". that's all thank you..

er... no. the homeless man down the street has been saying that for the past 5 years. everday he claims it's coming tomorrow... I think that stuff is just supposed to scare you. kind of like y2k. and in a religious point of view; a 'judgement day' shouldn't matter. you should be a good person and always strive to be better everyday.

I don't think that it's near because the religions have been saying that for thousands of years and have always been wrong. All religions use Fear & Guilt to attract followers. Fear: "The end is near but we will save you from damnation. Just join us, and put some money in our basket". Guilt: "You are bad, you were born bad (Original Sin), but we will make you good. just join us and put some money in our basket". "The End is Near" is so worn out that it's now used in car commercials.

A -- Nope. Next question?

This is the last thing a Christian should be concerned about, but its always their topic. Because Jesus loved others enough to heal them but I haven't heard of any of his followers doing such, so are they truly following him and if they are, could they be the lukewarm he spoke of? Look at every new day as a chance to love others better, rather then being concerned about condeming others with judgement.

Does it really matter? People seem to be so preoccupied about this nonsense, that life just passes them by. Don't worry about it. Consider this, 1) You are going to die, 2) It could be tomorrow and you'll miss the whole thing.

Naw..... They've been predicting the end of the world since cavemen looked up and saw their first eclipse. Mass hysteria is unreliable as an indicator.

Yes there are many signs now that the end of the world is nearing but nobody could tell it . Even Jesus Christ do not know the exact time. It is within the power of God, the father. Just get ready for it.
