sort of like walking in to a funeral? They do not rebuke satan before church starts, and they wouner why lots of people get bored, depressed during a service etc, they do not preach enough on hell, they do nto preach on Jesus second coming and how to be ready. Most churches are stressful to walk into. Instead of having the Holy Sprit work thorugh them, they condem people. Most churches you do not feel the Holy spirit in them, instead all you get is condemnation from christians, judging, and a boring sermon. If the sermon was really anointed you would feel it. I believe the Holy sprit has left a lot of churches, and they wouner why. I know the reason. Do you christians agree with what I am saying? If not why. How many churches have you been to besides your own? I have been to a good few and let me tell you I am yt to find a church that is anionted, non judgemental, non critical, etc all in one. What do you think christians?

My advice don't go to Church. Go to your room and pray there.

That is the reason why a lot of true Christians are leaving churches and having church with 2 or 3 saints Jesus said wherever their are 2 or 3 gathered in My Name I am in their midst. And the Holy Spirit God the Father and Jesus are raised to the Highest possible level because the religious part is cut out.And religion is a death sentence.

Well i think it depends on the church im a greek orthodox and i live in cyprus so most services are in greek recently at a small church they do the service in english and it sounds really nice they praise god, the priest prays for our salvation, and then on thursdays theres a ''discussion group'' and u can ask about anything u like and they have talks on various subjects like the second coming... its rlly nice there personally i can feel the presence of the Holy spirit... thats just me though my aunt goes to an evangelical church where again u can feel the Holy spirit... So i guess it depends on the clergy, the person.... things like that i hope i answered ur question

So you don't like them because they are not fundamentalist enough, warn people about the rapture (which sounds like the name of an adult video I rented three days ago), or rebuke invisible demons and a fiery non-existent place?
This is good news. I'm feeling better about the reduced insanity of modern religion. But I am with you on the boring sermon and judgmental part -- why not toss religion all together? Or at least the pews- they are the most uncomfortable chairs in existence, speaking from personal experience.

I have no idea where you got all this information from, do you, or, did you sleep through something, again.
Our Church is the most alive and most entertaining mass in the entire area. Our Church was voted as the place to be on a Sunday morning.
People like you make me feel sad, you have nothing more to do then put down others that don't meet your standards, standards that you, yourself don't have, you don't have any morals, no hope of a spiritual feeling or hope.
What do you feel in life, don't you have any feelings, do you know what love means or, is? do you love your wife or children. Do you have any hopes or dreams of a future. I see you as someone that's real empty of feelings. I feel sorry for you.

Too many churches built more on tradition and not the message.
I was lucky enough to start dating a girl who went to a phenomenal church, right at the time where I turned my life to God. Actually went to my old church a couple weeks ago (the one that made me feel like I didn't make enough money to be a Christian) and remembered exactly why I denounced God in the first place (I'm better now).

It can be done....through the guidance of prayer as well.
But remember...for a church to be annointed, to be full of the Holy Spirit, there is going to be a submission to the authority of Scripture...and you may find some judgement. Take mine...very dynamic...powerful sermons...we do so much with the community, we are so close to each other and welcome the visitor...not just to "recruit", but to let them know a very important message...the church is the hospital to the wounded in heart.
with all that said...I would also say, we extend our hand in fellowship to any who want to come, but while the man is living with another women outside of marriage, we'll wait before asking him to teach sunday school, or to lead any of the ministries supported by the church.
Scripture does call for us to hold each other accountable. It needs to be done in love. There's the challenge.

Step lightly. You sound a bit judgmental yourself.
But I am having a hard time finding a church. So in some of what you say I understand. All I can say is pray for our church's. Also a good share of the people who say they are Christians are not. Use your discernment. Don't forget you are suppose to love them to.

not something happens; that's purely a individual strolling right into a construction. besides, the church construction itself isn't the place God is residing, that's interior the souls of all that have self belief in Him and that His Son died to save all of us who have self belief from eternal separation from Him; that's what the church is. If an atheist walked right into a church construction, it would the two be to assert something damaging against them, they're doing shape paintings, or they have a conviction that they prefer to handle and are, in a manner, not atheists anymore in the event that they have self belief there's a God.

i totally agree with you.. i've grown up in a christian family but i stopped going to church because i felt that all they were doing was judging other people and telling me how i should live my life instead of actually teaching the religion and making in feel like a "spiritual" place. You shouldnt be able to fall asleep in church...it should be exciting and interesting.

I live in Singapore and it's nothing like that....I always feel special going to church...and most of the time...the summons touches my heart and makes me remember why I should be going to church....at times it puts tears in my eyes and I feel grateful that 'I' a sinners...is still welcome in the Lord's home.......maybe they should change your pastor or something......(by the way, I am a catholic so I dont' know if it's the same as christian in your country)
