i guess no difference. if he ends up in the same place. if he doesn't love god, it won't matter to him if god loves him or not.

God does not hate. God is love, pure love. He is pure good, he is not evil, does not advocate nor condone evil. That said, who said God "hates" an unbeliever? We are all His beloved children whether we believe in Him or not. He loves us all. No matter what we've done. There is always a chance for us to come to Him. Like you would to your father if you've turned your back on him. God will always accept you no matter what you've done. Just ask His forgiveness and He'll grant it - if your heart is pure and your face turned to His. Isn't this just a sad, sad question? I can't believe that anyone would believe that God would hate an unbeliever. Any more than I would hate my own child for not attending church. My gosh, how aweful would a god like THAT be? katiefish <><

God only loves. If you are a father and have an erring son/daughter would you hate him/her? If you do then you do not deserve the honourfic. God does.for in his compassion for us he sent his own son to guide us. Even if some of us did not or even do not follow him He is aware that this is becauseof our ignorance and he has all the patience in the universe to wait till the Message trickles down his/her brain.
If you find a blind man at the end of a precipice would you push him into it or rather hold his hand and guide him on the proper way. God sent his son to do that. But like fools we not only disowned him but insisted on going over the precipice. Would He disown us for that? No. He would pull us up ,hospitalise us, cure us and lead us on the righteous path. What is true of even an ordinary person like you and me can only be THE TRUE NATURE of GOD.

If your assumption was correct about hell, you would be correct., no difference. The truth is that all are going to heaven because Christ died for the sins of the whole world. Some believe now and some will believe later. Love never fails.

God doesn't hate unbelievers...for..while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
God is Love...but he has respect for you and your freedom as a human being..you can go to hell if you choose. That won't make God happy..He desires that all come to the knowledge of him.

God does not love the unbeliever, or ungodly. He despises them. The very first psalms tells you that the man who is blessed does not walk with the ungodly. The fifth psalms tells you that ...."thou hatest all workers of iniquity." That is why they go to hell, God would never send a child of his whom he loves like a father to hell. I John 3rd chapter is clear that some are the children of God and some the children of the devil. The children of the devil choose him, and shall spend eternity with him. The children of God chose him, and shall spend eternity with him. Freewill.

if you still belive there is a hell beyond this world, sure he will go. but God loving or hating is not different from loving his creation(I belive we people are also his creation) or hating.
dont get confused :-)

God has the Power to love and hate people. We don't have His authorization to judge.
