I have been hearing loads of horse crap on how Christians are not abided to the O.T. anymore. Jesus himself gave many versus on how the O.T. is still to be followed, yet you Christians give excuses on how you do not need to follow it. You say Jesus died for us so you live under grace. You say those rules only applied for the Jews. Jesus clearly said that the Jews were an example nation of how we should follow. Whatever, give me a verse where it is CLEARLY stating what you Christians claim of not needing to abide to the O.T.
Don't give me ambigious verses. I have CLEAR verses that the O.T. still applies ( search question:"What makes Christians believe they are not obligated to live by the laws of the OT when Jesus Himself said so?") do you Christians have any CLEAR verse where you can be disclaimed from the O.T. that Jesus so clearly stated was the law to behold and upkeep??
Hit me with your best "verse" to disclaim you from the vicous God in the O.T. I repeat only "verses"!!!

I want to enroll in the Confraternity of the Rosary and I found this website where you can do this. I'm just not sure if it's safe to give my information.

Can you take a look and tell me what you think?

Religion really is the easy way through life isn't it?
Religious people's morals have been clearly laid out in scriptures. They are unable to develop their own values systems because they have already accepted a preconceived paradigm for behaviour. So it is just easier to be religious than to forge through life under your own steam and discover meaning for yourself? Those who believe one can have both clearly don't see the juxtaposition which religion versus self discovery presents.

1. Friendly fire
2. Right wing christianity
3. Bungles and bloopers
4. Recruiting from the lower socioeconomic areas for cannon fodder
5. Of so many of the troops on the front line reversing their indoctrinated rhetoric, to then despise the Bush goverment, and feel the war in Iraq is a bad mistake, and who just want to come home.

It's only the mindless and brainwashed voters who swallow the propaganda, hook, line and sinker who are "pro" this absurd revisiting of another Vietnam..

What do you think..?

I'm sixteen years old and I'm going to be a junior next year at a catholic high school(its just for the grades i leave senior year) and what i've learned is everything is about sin, which in my head translates to- your aren't good enough you'll never be good enough but just keep trying even though you'll never be worthy in gods eyes.

some people say they do things because they fear god?

in the bible people were angry at jesus because he claimed the authority to forgive sins....why do the priests claim the authority to forgive sins if only jesus can do it?

it just makes no sense!

When you enter this world of R&S, do you come as a student, teacher, or something else.

so basicly, Do you come to learn only what confirms your belief, To help others believe what you believe, Or maybe just to see what/how everyone else is asking/responding.

Can anyone give me some scriptures to support this? Currently, I go to a church that does worship on Sunday, but I’ve heard a lot of things from people who worship on Saturday, and I’m quite confused. I’d like at least 2 or 3 evidences in the Bible of the early Christian church who met on a Sunday, and if Sunday is the true day we should worship or should we worship on Saturday? I really want to know what the Bible says – not man’s interpretation please. Sorry for being a bit harsh there, but I need to know what God says and what the Bible says. So if anyone can clarify this and show me evidence from scripture, that would be extremely helpful! Thanks everyone! =D

Many people, theists included, struggle with the issue of God's revelation. They say, if God exixts why doesn't he give us more evidence? Why isn't He more obvious? What do you think? God does supply sufficient decisive evidence, though the evidence is different from what we naturally expect. What evidence do you think that could be?

I work with this guy had a brain tumor that they thought was inoperable. I was talking to him the other day about his faith and his cancer that he is now free of. He is the first survivor of this type of brain cancer surgery. One woman before him had had surgery on the exact same type of tumor and died on the table. The doctors wanted to try and save his life so they did the surgery. Bud (his name) died on the table three times.
In those times he had an out of body experience where he saw himself in the hospital bed with Mary and God by his side. He could not see God, but God explained to him that he was not done with his life on earth yet and that he was going back. God showed him what hell looked like. Hell for Bud was people living underwater and drowning, but still surviving. He told me that the people were absolutely miserable, but alive. God also showed him Heaven.
My coworker, Bud believed in God as his savior but now has not a doubt in his mind the truth! Amazing !

The purpose of all the major religious traditions is not to construct big temples on the outside, but to create temples of goodness and compassion inside, in our hearts. - The 14th Dalai Lama

I am not a super religious person, but I always wondered why. The definition of a Christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ. Catholics believe in Jesus Christ! It makes not sense. They(Catholics, Protestants, Mormons, Methodists, Babtists, Unitarians, etc) are all christians!

No, I'm not asking a question about hell.
But about love.
I live in MO. It 10:15 pm and it's still 98 degrees. It's going to be this way for the next 10 days.

Would you let your neighbor move in, if their air conditioner broke down?
