I want to enroll in the Confraternity of the Rosary and I found this website where you can do this. I'm just not sure if it's safe to give my information.

Can you take a look and tell me what you think?

In general I'd look for a "dot org" site for apostolates and confraternities; most have one. The link below is for The Rosary Confraternity, the "archconfraternity" entrusted to the Dominican Order. If this is what you're looking for, you can enroll from the home page.

As a fellow Catholic I looked. I think it is a lovely site, but don't know if I would give them personal information. Did you check out the www site it came from? www.pacifier.com doesn't sound right? You really have to be careful about info you put on websites today. Believe it or not people will use religion as a way to scam you for your private information. Talk to your Priest. Ask him if he has ever heard of the organization or if he could perhaps lead you to a known site that contains the same information.

I wouldn't worry about it. They just want your address to mail you a confirmation of your signing up. You'll be on their mailing list til kingdom come, but it's no big deal. You can always tell them later you don't need their mail.
It's not like they asked for your Social security number or anything.

All they want is your address. It's not like they are asking for your credit card number or bank account. I've given my address to sites a lot more suspect than this one.

I have never heard of this; however, that does not mean if it is valid or not.

If you are uncomfortable, call the phone number. A person there should be able to help you.
