Its not bad at all. You will discover some rather intelligent people where Atheists.

While Albert Einstein was not an Atheist he did not believe in a personal God. I say if someone like that was a non-believer why should I be a believer?

Surely, the pope is not smarter then Einstein.

You are experiencing rational thought. Keep it up, and take advantage of the free and easy access to modern mainstrean scientific descriptions of the natural world, then you will really know what a spiritual experience is..

It is a globally uniform, non judgemental perception of the world, and is without borders, does not discriminate, and offers a common mindset for the whole world to meet and discuss important global issues..

You know it makes sense, so enjoy..

It's good to be an Atheist. If everyone was an Atheist this world and the life we experience would be much less painful. It is bad to be religious. Religion poisons everything.

well if you've researched and found this is your true calling then it's fine

i dont like it when people havent really looked at religions and just assume theyre atheists because they were brought up catholics or this and that. you should check out all the main religions because its possible you believe in one of them. dont give up... i know it sounds corny and at one point i was like maybe there is no God but thankfully i got past that.

there are benefits to religion. i dont see the benefits to atheism to be honest.. theres no faith and no hope... no morals.. religion, when you truly believe, gives you hope and morals to abide by.

to the guy who said a lot of intelligent people were atheists.. well a lot more intelligent people werent. so many scientists went from being atheists to believers after studying because they found science and religion were all in one.

The benefits of Christianity don't seem silly when you get in a mess you can't get out of and have nowhere to turn but to God.

No it's not bad. In my view it's a positive thing because it shows that you are a freer thinker than those who blindly believe in gods. However, it really only counts if your atheism lasts until you are an adult.

I miss religion telling me that I'm a bad person, the same way I miss a tooth ache.

I think it is because you have shut your mind off to any other possibility or explanation. That's just as bad as someone who runs around blindly believing in everything, without being discerning or skeptical. Try being a little more open-minded - don't be so quick to take the easy-way-out. (Just my opinion.)

I have never found it to be so. In any event, it is entirely appropriate to make up your own mind about the matter; do not let anyone else influence your choice, although it is entirely appropriate to consider arguments from anyone. You may enjoy:
