This should post in the skin conditions section. I would try to ice your sunburned lips down with a cold pack wrapped in a thin dry paper towel or wash cloth - 20 minutes. Then apply a thin layer of Aquaphor to the affected areas for 1 hour. Repeat the process for 12 hours until the redness subsides. Do not apply acidic solution of any kind. See your family doctor if blisters, inflamed skin, and or rash develops.

I suppose kissing is right out of the question.
You are truly suffering aren't you? Yes, your sweet lips can get burnt. Cool water.. (again). lip balm.. keep them moist.... Wear a hat next time.. Hey.... Bella, I thought you are supposed to be mediterranian? You are supposed to just tan.. like in a couple of hours.. what's your story?
One of my children borrowed my bible.. the old one dog eared that was nanna's or grandma's (I was too young when I got it to remember). Anyway, I think it was left at school.. and now nobody seems to know where it is.. and whilst there have been no admissions some serious sideways glancing was detected from one child in particular.
Bibles are all the same really aren't they?

Yes, I have had sunburned lips - they hurt!
Mama24 is right (or her husband is actually!) - Carmex would be the way to go.
The oldest Bible I personally have in my possession is 23 years old - I was 13 when I got it - and it's a Catholic version. I use several others now - NIV, KJV, and a Chronological Bible.

Bibles ((((pickles)))) ouch. Yes, I've had sunburned lips, it hurts, specially along the upper lip line. I use lots of petroleum jelly.
I have a couple of bibles, one was given to us for our wedding and it belonged to my husband's great great grandmother. I imagine it's 100 or more years old.

Actually, yes I have. Painful! I used aloe straight from the plant - seemed to work the best. DON'T use anything with mentol in it - hurts like hell and dries your lips out more.
My current one? Ummm from the 1930s, I believe. It's packed in a box right now.

I inherited a family bible with a date from 1789 in it, and listing my G?G?G? Grandfather as a "Pyrate/ Brigand" born in Jamaca and My G/G/G/grama as a " woman of worldlyness" from G'dansk
