i was born roman catholic but i dont think im catholic anymore. after research i think i might be muslim. and i know how much people here (ignorant bastards) just looove muslims so im gonna say it straight out, i think its a great religion and no im not an oppressed woman.

btw i hate how atheists talk about how theyre lucky or atheism is the logical choice. thats just offensive. i would never say my choice was the logical or right one or whatever. it seems to me, here, when i read answers, i see a lot of atheists pushing that in people's faces and i think it's rude. i respect everyone's choice but to push something like that in our faces is rude.

I was born into a Lutheran family and raised in what would today be called an ELCA Lutheran church.

Where the Pastor was NOT a Bible believing Christian. He believed more in traditions and got angry when I asked him about it. He admitted he didn't know if he would go to heaven when he died or not.

He said no one can known and he thought I was very arrogant since I had been telling people for years that I actually knew.

I became a born again Christian while I was in high school and continued to attend that church until I was about 21 years old.

Then I joined a Bible believing church in my college town and have been attending Bible believing churches ever since. While in that church God called me into full time Christian service.

So just call me a Bible believing Christian. A follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. And like Martin Luther, I actually believe, Sola Scriptura!

I'm currently an atheist and I'm doing the research on the Christian groups including Catholicism before being a real Christian/Catholic but my principles'll be spiritual and liberal instead of being religious.

I must be etc. Humanism is what I'm all about. Here.

Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion.

Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values.
Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death.
Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding.
Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world.
Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion.

My religion is Christianity; my denomination is the Roman Catholic Church. I was born into Catholicism, but stayed there by personal choice. I've studied (and am still studying) many different religions, but so far, I've chosen to remain Catholic.

My Mother was Christian, my father never expressed much interest in religion. We never attended any particular church. As an adult I tried a few different Christian churches but they never felt right to me. After I was 40 I began searching for a name for what it was I believe, and found that I am a Pagan. Since then I've never been happier spiritually. I've found what I am and where I belong.

I was born Catholic. Lost my faith, looked around, then came back a stronger Catholic than before.

Catholics are Christians, by the way. Christians are divided into two groups: Catholics and Protestants

I was born into a Christian family, my parents called themselves Christian but never really went to church except on holidays and stuff, as a teenager I went to church with my brother at an Assembly of God church. Due to incidents there, I renounced the Christian faith and became a Muslim. Most of my family has disowned me, but I have peace and I don't regret converting to Islam.
