I mean it. I didn't have any of my questions answered by any Christians. They answer things like "Jesus will save you when you accept Him as your Lord", or they quote passages of the Bible they can't understand themselves, or they detour the subject as they please. Please guys, will we knock it off?

I am 26, I believe in God, read and believe in the Bible but do not come from a overly religious family and never went to church as a child....

Today, I pray daily, read the Bible often but still do not go to church.......The way I see it is that as long as you believe, you do not need to go to a particular building or place to worship and pray and that God will hear you no matter where you are.

Is there anything wrong with that?

The "live & let live" mantra that so many espouse in here really bugs me.

Theists of any kind provide a base for fundamentalists to build on.

It's like the old adage about pot leading to harder drugs. It dosn't for most, but for many it does. I used to think that line was a load of crap, but life experience has taught me otherwise.

Fundamentalists have a much harder time trying to recruit atheists to their cause than theists.

On top of that, belief in gods, creation and an afterlife is delusional.

Is there any other delusion that we consider acceptable for our loved ones to cling to?

Or do you try and bring them around to sanity?

I am very disappointed in some moms who I have seen teaching their kids to lie on the phone, or to cheat on tests or to wear Sleaze clothes and I am talking about 9-13 year olds here. Now I know that religion might not play a role in many people's lives. But I recall that back in the day these people were taught good things like : good morals, teaching goodness and innocence. It might not be what goes on now a days due to people getting away from religion or is this because of something else? Why are some moms supporting this kind of behavior? Is lack of religion or just plain lack of morals?

How come not 1 single group can ever decide on what it means to be a true follower. We constantly see one group claim to be the "true way" but they spend so much time fighting with other groups who have the same idea but different message. We see different groups of Muslims and Christians doing this constantly. My question is, if your ways are "right" ways , how come none of you can ever agree with each other? I mean it's not like you all have 15 different holy books with different messages, What would you say is the reason for the lack of unity amongst Christians and Muslims?

Honest meaning they only have one username and represent themselves consistently in here.

Are the people, who try to mislead and dupe others, good people?

How do you feel about someone changing their username all of the time?

What do you think they are hiding about themselves?

Like they do not practice what they preach? Do you find a lot of hypocricy in the church. And pastors that are just plain rude? I do, and I do not go to church, as I cannot stand the majority of the people, as they are so condeming. Do you find that? I would rather speak to a nice athiest than a christian that is full of it. What do you think everyone. Would you rather speak to a nice athiest? Do you find most of the christians are rude and arogant? I am one, and find it a disgrace that most christians think you have to act like them. I do not put on a show. I am me. I will not change for anyone, and I say if they do nto like me for me stiff. What do you have to say about this fellow brothers and sisters?.

Ok i might get some bad comments over this one but Im an athiests and i dont understand, Why most things im reading from other Athiests are so hateful!! I guess i do for the most part but Come on now, let them think and believe what they want, Lets be bigger than shooting off some nasty words because we not going to change their minds to not believe. God to most people is an addiction. EVERYONE in this life is addicted to something. Why do you think that so many drug addicts turn to god to recover. Its switching the addiction from one thing to another. My sister is like that.. But lets just keep it polite!! Does anyone else agree??

From Wikiedia

How is impalement done?

"The victim is forced to stand over a wide stake which was just tall enough that it penetrated the person's rectum deeply. This left them unable to remove themselves, or to sit. As their legs tired, they would slowly sink onto the stake, which eventually would cause mortal damage, but only over the course of hours, or even days"

Good morning my brothers and sisters. My Bible tells me in Psalms 97:12, "Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name." Whether you know it or not God loves it when we rejoice. He especially loves it when we praise His name. He in fact inhabits the praises of His people. Philippians 4:4 says, "Rejoice in the Lord always. And again I say, Rejoice!" Praise God. God made this verse real to me over the past few months. I think we as Christians tend to rejoice and praise God when we feel like it, or when things are going good. But Paul tells us that we are to rejoice always, in good or bad, rain or shine. I threw shot and disk this year in High School. It was my first year, and I was pretty good. In fact I was on my way to conference, districts, and possibly regionals. But in the middle of this I broke my finger in gym class (I know that sounds funny, but it sucked). That injury sent me to surgery, and pins in my finger for three weeks, taking me out of all of that.

Most experts agree that all athiests spent their most recent previous lifetimes in Lubbock, Texas, or some other Bible Belt location. They are athiests this lifetime in order to free themselves from the strait-jackets of the mind and poured concrete of thought from their last life experience on earth.

Why must athiests decompress an entire lifetime? Does it really take that long to unravel that stuff?

Isn't there some Gordian Knot an athiest might cut through, instead?

Instead of becoming scientists in order to find the truth of our existence and how the world is, we choose the light within our heart that brightens our path.

Instead of just accepting what the world is and live without a cause, we seek the creator for strength, knowledge, wisdom and understanding, which eventually will accomplish us eternity.

Instead of going around discouraging people not to believe there is a God, we make use of life and admire It more, for our mind is set free from evil spirit.

Instead of using technologies, sciences and other method in order to find God, we allow him to find us as we continue to live according to his commands.

Instead of dying and have no idea what next, we are thankful to be gone, for we’re expecting to meet the man we serve throughout our lifetime.

If you feel my question today, give it a Star and Praise the Lord, the father above who died for all sins
