The "live & let live" mantra that so many espouse in here really bugs me.
Theists of any kind provide a base for fundamentalists to build on.
It's like the old adage about pot leading to harder drugs. It dosn't for most, but for many it does. I used to think that line was a load of crap, but life experience has taught me otherwise.
Fundamentalists have a much harder time trying to recruit atheists to their cause than theists.
On top of that, belief in gods, creation and an afterlife is delusional.
Is there any other delusion that we consider acceptable for our loved ones to cling to?
Or do you try and bring them around to sanity?
