If Evil is defeated, there will be no need for GOD. That's why GOD will never ever banish Evil. HE gotta earn a living you know.

Evil has been defeated many times but seems to rise again causing more trouble and chaos. When Jesus offered himself to the cross a sacrifice to save us from eternal damnation that's when the power of evil was defeated and Satan couldn't win at all.

What is "evil" is what you choose to move away from.

What you resist persists.

A more useful concept is visualizing what you are moving towards. A "better" concept (ie more effective) is visualisations that you are already "there".

"Not you" self-definitions do create - but not as well ones
that lean more towards "what you are" = "your visualized state"

Is balance the greatest achievement - No.
"A balance" is simply "A balance"

Where one balance exists another may not.
Which "balances" or "mutual existences" are entertained at any time is changing.

Unbalance - (where a reality is visualized but not currently "real") causes things to change to that new visualization.

The universe is in a state of flux - meaning there is something that is not balanced (equal and opposite focuses) for anyone local snapshot (from our perspective of time).

Godanddevil....Goodandevil...Godanddevil...Goodandevil.
Yes, at the moment there is a fine balance between the choice to follow Jesus/God or the choice to follow satan... either by making the choice or by simple apathy in not seeking the truth. Evil will be defeated for those who are 'born again' of water and the Spirit, when Jesus returns to take them to Gods mansions...the others will be left to satan and his demons to do as they will with and as the Bible puts it...'There will be a great wailing and gnashing of teeth'
I know where I want to be...do you?
Best wishes, Mike.

Evil is a subjective term. What is evil? What I consider evil may or may not be what you consider evil? Christian Fundamentalist consider anything in contrast to the will of god to be evil, therefore, the end of evil would be heaven or paradise on earth.

We non-theists tend to think of evil in different terms. We have our own sent of principals and morals and believe anything that violates those principals to be evil.

Personally, I try to separate 'evil' from things I simply disagree with. I believe that murder is, for the most part wrong, but I don't think that it is necessarily evil. I believe that doing drugs is wrong, but I don’t think that in and of itself it's evil. Then again, I think that excessive eating IS evil. As is intentional ignorance, sitting aimlessly in front of the TV for hours on end watching shows or playing games, and racism.

Although it's still a work in progress, my current definition for evil is: Intentional and unrepentant ignorance*, indolence**, gluttony+, bigotry++ and cowardice.# {See Note Below}

So, form my perspective, if evil were eradicated, then the world, although still not being perfect, would be a much better place.

That's not to say that people would not still do bad things, it just means that people would stop being evil.

I hope this helps.

[seeking money for the sake of having money or seeking it to the exclusion of all other pursuits would be gluttonous.])
++ Bigotry: Irrational intolerance and/or disdain of others based on racial, ethnical and/or cultural differences.

I think that as we have all seen the contrast and recognize evil as opposed to good, good could exist singularly.

A blind person that has never seen the day, could never distinguish the difference. But a person that has lost sight know the concept of day for they have seen it. Dig it?

There is only evil invented by man. Really thee is no evil. So nothing to defeat. Its an illusion, a idea, a belief. What is evil to one is not to another. So thats my point. Its not real, definite, etc. So no battle needed. The game is over already.

Yes ofcoz if evil was defeated there would always be good forever ,BUT GOD gave evil permission to misguide people of the world,to test people n their nature,so tht they could do good n protect themselves from evil.So the ones who r good they wont get misguided by evil n the ones who r bad n have weak faith they will be misguided by evil.N definetly one day evil will be defeated, tht day is very close to all humans.

Good and evil cannot exist independently of each other because they are the same thing seen from two different points of view.

If there was no evil, there is no good, as everything is equal and therefore cannot be used in contrast.
