One thing that the lady can do is to remove and cut all cords that connect her to her mother. Cords can be positive and negative representing how we are connected to each other, sometimes when relationships get to be so toxic, the removal of cords and healing light placed on both sides will help mend and heal the relationship. The removal of the cords will also help release the power the mother has over the daughter so that the daughter has more freedom and then the cleansing and protection shields will work a lot better.
Also have your friend repeat that she has sole control over her mind, body, heart and spirit and entire control over her energy and will not allow anything or anyone that is not of her highest and greatest good to enter her sacred space without her permission.

Moondown, I do not do spellwork for strangers. Especially Banishing and Binding spells. NOw, others may not find anythng wrong with doing so BUT, MY ethics tell me that unless I know ALL the facts (hers as well as her Mopther's side of things) then it's BEST that I not become involved in this.
Now what I CNA do is to ask Goddess to enable your friend to find her OWN way out of this fix that she's found herself in. In over 39 years of BEING a Witch I have NEVER found a SINGLE case of a Psychic Vampire to be actually what people think it is. An energy predator is a VERY RARE thng to encounter, and such beings have NEVER been known to "suck off the energy" of just ONE person, they suck off the energy of EVERYONE around them, even total strangers and EVERYTHING else too.You can tell these folks easily because even the friendliest cats, dogs, and birds acutally RUN from those folks. The animals are not simply shy around them they are terrified of them and will be yelping, crying or just fleeing in a panic.
