Honest meaning they only have one username and represent themselves consistently in here.

Are the people, who try to mislead and dupe others, good people?

How do you feel about someone changing their username all of the time?

What do you think they are hiding about themselves?

If someone feels they are speaking in honestly without malice, why are their accounts deleted?

some people do it in order to abuse others and escape losing their account.

others do it because they have been targeted by abusers and have to start another account.

your intuition should guide you

I guess we never know, in the end, who is being truthful and who isn't. I think I can usually tell when someone is being genuine. I haven't changed my original screen name which was just Yogini (the Pretzel Chica was a nutty idea one morning). I can't say whether those who 'dupe' others are good or bad as I don't know them. I don't mind if people add to their username. We're probably all hiding something or we're actually showing a part of us that is important (for me that's being a yogini). The whole account deletion thing can go in a lot of directions, someone gets stalked, clones, etc etc. Blessings and Namaste

I don't think because someone changes their name all the time means anything. A person using only one name could still be a bad person. I don't think they are hiding anyhing.

Just because someone speaks honestly doesn't mean they don't get deleted. The sad ting is it has nothing to do with that. What happens is some decides that they won't to be offended and report the person. Someone with multiple accounts can get someone else deleted by reporting them using their accounts. Or getting together with others and doing the same.

I have the same name and identity that I started out with, and I stand behind all my answers. If my account gets deleted, that will be it, there won't be any second time around for me. I also subscribe to news groups, R/S isn't the only place I interact with people. I also get many letters published in the local nugget that I subscribe to, with my real name and area where I live under it, so I'm not trying to hide anything. I watch two or more hours of news a day, so there is plenty to discuss with news groups outside of religion.

Well some people have no choice but to change names and accounts. They are being followed and deleted for whatever reason. Other people want to cause trouble. Myself, I've only had one account, don't really trust anyone on here (or anywhere online), and just answer honestly. Maybe you can go through some questions and answers and see how consistent someone is if you have doubts.

God Bless.

I've had this one username since this thing fired up a year or so ago, why would someone change their nick?

I have no idea who is trying to mislead and dupe others, I just answer the questions.

I have found a few honest people here. They usually keep the save names and avatars and they respect a good answer or a witty answer.

These are often people of a vastly different view who award best answer to an opponant because they viewed it as the best answer.

When someone switches username for a reason, such as to take a different questioning persona for a reason, that can be ok.

If their sole purpose is to mislead then it's a bad idea. I thought having multiple accts is not allowed here?

Their accounts are getting deleted simply because there's a lot of people in here who probably report them for the heck of it.

I keep sailing in the same boat all the time under my real name. I know my contacts are honest and they never play hide and seek here. There is nothing to hide about Islam. It's a way that's straight and forth.

Difficult. You will need to decide yourelf?
What may be an honest answer from one person is not from another.
Anything that is too long and has a bible quote is definitely not honest.
I fit your definition. Honest answers do not require essays to be put accross and I think would have originality.
