Does the disciples question in John 9:1-3 suggest they believed it was possible to sin before birth, ie: past life ?

Do we inherit sins?

KJV: The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

who shall pay for sins?

KJV: The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

what is a way for forgiveness?

KJV: But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

KJV: All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

KJV: Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

to be fair I dont see it at all. I do see two types of responses to questions that people write.

1) Fundie/Evangelical
2) Non- religious
3) Catholic

Not the Catholics tend to accross as articulate and genuine. There seems to be a lot of sense and reason in their posts.

The atheists while I would disagree with them are either pro or con but tend to have their opinion and yet be tollerant of other peoples.

The Fundies tend to spout out a out of context bible quote. They rend to use antagonistic language that would be classed as Catholic bashing but to be fair they come across at best as ignorant.

I dont think there has been a response from one of them that could be classed in any way as authorititive at all.

My personal belief: When you are filled with the Holy Spirit to answer a question in a different language that only another believer can understand.
Spoken for wisdom, Not for preaching about how holier than thou you are! Holy Rollers should be dragged out and their mouths duck taped to their butt!

He will be despised and rejected, and lay down his life to make atonement for our sins." Isaiah 52:13-53:12 predicted before Messiah came and the temple was lost leaving mankind with either Jesus atonement or no blood sacrifice for sins as commanded by God to Moses.

Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins

"The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it upon the altar to make atonement for your souls."

The CNN debate last night covered alot of ground with the candidates, but I have a question when they answered the You tube asker if Gays should be able to marry.

One thing Obama and Edwqards stated is that they would grant civil right to same sex couples, however Marraige should be left up to the Clergy HUH?
First they all claim to be Christians, that being said how could any Mainstream Monothiestic Church scantify a Godly Marraige Blessing? What scripture will they use? No where in the Bible does it elude to a marraige sacrament for same sex couples.

The entire OT and New Testament speaks of a union being blessed that is male and female..For a man should leave his family and cleave to his wife, the scripture is *exact* that GOD is blessing a man and woman in holy matrimony.

Why would so called Christian Candidates say the Clergy has the right to scantify a homosexual couple?Does Satan have the right to enter the church and spin the scripture any way
he pleases? Thoughts?

Really, there are more races than blacks and whites, especially in our church. But, when anti-Mormons accuse us of racism, they think that all there are are blacks and whites. They talk like, if there were no blacks in our church, it would be all white.

But, there are Asians, pacific Islanders, Native Americans, even Middle Easterners in our church. My husband is not white and not black, and is a member of the LDS church.

The LDS church is one of the biggest in the Pacific Islands. I think it's the biggest in Tonga. I know that in Salt Lake there is one whole STAKE that is all tongan.

The church is in almost every country in the world. The world is more than black and white, and so is the church.

Will the second coming of Madeleine Murray O’Hair launch evangelical atheists into the next step in spiritual growth?
Most experts agree Ms. O’Hair is currently enjoying the Braxton-Hicks Contraction of the between-lives ether. Soon, they assert, she’ll re-emerge to assist evangelical atheists toward transcending, as she’ll have done, the faith-void she mapped for them during her last lifetime in Austin, Texas.

Statistics show atheists await this second coming and new awakening with great enthusiasm.

However, experts are dismayed concerning who will lead the Fundamentalist Christians in their inevitable lifetimes of post-Christian soon to emerge atheists, once the post-O’Hair movement recedes. Atheists will be forced, experts agree, to find the O’Hair charm and charisma in some new leader emerging from a previous life as a Fundamentalist Christian.

do you think i'm starting to grow angel wings?

When I was a teen, and still counted myself as a christian, I often found myself asking "god" for guidance in important decision making, looking for signs and such to help me find the right way to go. Unfortunately that never worked out, and I'm an atheist now. I usually use logic, or my heart to guide me now-a-days, but even those things haven't been as helpful as they should be at times. I guess I'm looking for opinions and personal experiences from anyone who has a good source for reliable guidance or divination of sorts. All faiths and opinions welcome. Thanks.

was impaled not crucified..Is this what you guys believe? Please answer this and clear this up for myself as I didn't understand fully if this is actually what your religion believe..

I answered the question that was asked by a man..and said that I didn't think that this is what you believe..I did think that you believe he was on a tree or a single peice of wood. Too me, that is not really an issue..The fact that he died for us..a very painful death..for each and every person.
