there is a word called [forever] it has a meaning it means without beginning-without end...can you tell me when the wind began[proof] or when it will end[proof]...and can you prove there is a god....my guess is your answer is no but does that stop you from believing in god[probably not] i know there is a god i have no doubt but my god is forever yours apparently has a beginning and an end as you stated everything has these points of reference...my proof is my imagination and while it proves nothing to anybody else the truth is it is all the proof i need...and what is imagination if is has a beginning and end[limitation] ...i can tell you how the earth was created and how about 455,000 years ago humankind had a little help from another species that gave us a brain that can become a mind but if all you want is proof then why tell the story...some things may never have proof there is a word for this novel approach it is called[faith] the foundation on which most religions are built upon

You expect a few paragraphs to explain all of existence? Your question is simplistic and fundamentally flawed, you ask non believers (by that i pressume you mean the atheists and agnostics of this mad little planet) to give their story of how life and the universe came into being and at the same time ignore the possible answers before youre even provided with one......"you cant say it always has been cuz there is a begining.....etc ". Well theres someone who sounds ready to engage in a logical discussion...not. For starters we 'non-believers' dont think their is no begining or end, heard of the big bang? A well known and often misread theory (usually by christians with the IQ of a head of wet lettuce), it states that the universe as we know began to form about 15 billion years ago, as anyone in the know and they will tell you that does not mean there was nothing before that, its just we have no scientific way of discovering it since TIME as we know it also began at the same point. I cant be bothered to explain it all, you sound like the kind of person who just has to hear 'big bang' and 'evolution' and runs home to pray for forgivness faster than you can say the pope is a nazi. We cant disprove the existance of a metaphysical being like god with physical evidence and fact which is why rational people like myself can never win in an argument against the religious. You keep to your church and when you we die im sure this whole debate will be answered once and for all......see you in the afterlife...or not. Peace and love x

There are two ways of explaining the beginning of this universe. The first is to believe that in the beginning there was a self-creating God that then caused the creation of everything else, including intelligent life (like simple serenity and me), possibly through the Big Bang mechanism. The second way is to believe that in the beginning there was a self-creating mass of non-intelligent matter/energy that somehow exploded into a Big Bang and cause the creation of everything else, including intelligent life (like simple serenity and me).
Whether you believe in God or not depends on which of these starting points you find easier to believe.

I would believe the thing that started us off is, a mistake by the universe and pure coinsidence.
I'll explain from start to end.
Beginning - The Universe was an empty black space (mutch like a black room with no lights) and there was rocks, planet size rocks and stars around to brighten it. Why did they appear? I would think it would be like when you open a soda and bubbles come out, the universe is a soda and the planets, rocks, and stars are the bubbles (they just appear).
Our solar system - The sun and the 8 worlds we have now were pure coinsidence to be located where they are especially ours wich we call Earth ( Located in the perfect spot to keep water).
Human - Man probably came from evolution a tiny molecule like thing transformed into a fish and eventually man, but thats the more realistic thing we have.
My theory would be that man came as a mistake from Primate offspring ( as one of our offspring would be born with a freaky leg, blind, or something out of the ordinary ) primates gave birth to alot of man-like people and then the man-like people became their own community.
Jesus - The son of god eh? we never see god, why? according to what I've heard he is so beautyfull that a looking at him will make you blow up, sounds absurd to me, but believe what you will.
The end - The sun one day is going to swallow our planet Earth but that'll happen in a long time and we are expected to live in another planet by then.
If your looking for evedience that there is no god, your out of luck, prooving that there is no god is like proving that a time machine will never exist.
If this helps there is no proof that god is real.
The bible - the bible if you read it all the way trough it could be a fiction book that took actions from real people but exagerated them or lied about.

If there's a beginning and end to everything, you are claiming the universe is contingent but that your god is not contingent.
This is a case of special pleading -- unless you can prove your deity is non-contingent.
Can you?
Further, there is no evidence yet shown that anything in existence was created, so you have two uses of special pleading logical errors.
-------
Correction: You're not looking for intelligent answers. You're looking for someone to agree with you, pat you on your back, and tell you what a good little slave you are to your false beliefs.

If you follow science everything has to do with how certain particles in space have come together. Certain elements had to combine and form into components which give life withstanding capabilities. How far a planet is away to a sun and the gravitational pull, and how fast that planet spins on its axis. However, I find all of this intriguing, but I don't believe in the big bang, and how certain meteors have collided to create substance to make life, someone had to give it direction and create the blueprints for life. We have to many different life organisms on this planet to happen just from chance.

The proof is all around you. Everything seeds, polinates, germinates, multiplies, thrives, and then dies. Pretty simple concept. Science will help here. Also...spend some time around a funeral home and watch what happens to people, same as roadkill that lays there long enough. You actually fade away. All the while the process goes on.

I think you are a good example of a top ten fundamentalist Christian.
I'm so sick of this crap.
1* You actually know less than many atheists and agnostics do about the bible,Christianity, and the church history -but still call yourself Christian.
2* You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of god.
3* While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around the floor speaking in "tounges" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.
4* You believe that the entire population of the planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects -will spend eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving"
5* You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesman sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.
6* You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascented into the sky.
7* Your faces turn purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!
8* You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Trune God.
9* You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.
10* You vigorusly deny the existance of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but you feel outraged when someone denies the existance of yours.

If you state there is a beginning and end to everything then you state there is a beginning and end to God. You can not say that and then say God always existed. Flaw number one in your arguement.
Flaw number 2, No where in science does it state that it "always was". If you choose to make this arguement please read the defintions of hypothesis and theory in science and then read about what those theories actually are.
Flaw number 3....screw it. Pass the bailey's. I'm just going to start on the irish coffee
