Seriously???? Each one of the words listed above may sound the same, but they mean very different things.

That being aside, think of this: The texts in the Bible, which is a collection written by many different people over a span of a couple hundred years, were written in Sanskrit, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew and even Greek. There are always going to be translation issues with ancient texts because a word could mean something totally different than it means now. Scholars keep revising these texts based on newly recovered texts, etc. that give them better ideas of what the words meant 100's of years ago.

But none of that applies to the words you chose to ask a question about - they are pretty straight forward in their meaning, in today's world anyways.

What are you talking about? Prophets is spelled correctly in my Bible...I don't know what Bible you are looking at.

Besides, don't you realize that our English Bible is only translated from the original Greek and Hebrew? How can you try to disprove a Bible just because the printer made a mistake? Not to mention, it probably wasn't even a mistake. The King James Bible was translated hundreds of years ago, and people used to spell things slightly differently back then.

I'm sure there are plenty of books that say God does not exist that have typing errors in them too!

How can we take your questions seriously when you say things like that? It was not the bible spelling things wrong, it's you on this post.

Obviously Prophets and Hymns are something you're unfamiliar with, perhaps you should go back to school and learn to read and find definitions before you start picking on other books

Those words that you inquired about are homonyms, words that sound the same but have a different meaning.

Proift is net money after expenses, prophet is a person who brings inspiration, news wisdom to others.

Him - referring to a male person at a distance, hymn a spiritual song that glorifies God.

Now that you have the answer to your question, you can accept the Bible again and know that it is true and correct!

God bless you!

If you are not going to take the time to learn how to spell words why should I ever take you seriously?

The songs they sing in church are called hymns.
Tha main table of worship is called the altar.
Tha main passageway in a church is called the aisle.
The reason for this is simple. It's because those are the three words that go through a woman's mind as she is getting married.
"I'll alter him!!"

sometimes we are thinking and typing so fast, we make typos and spelling errors. it is not a sign of illiteracy (although some people cannot spell), but more just being a real person. anyway, who do we need to impress.
God bless ya
