I decided to ask a few questions today to see just what the modern person (Christians and others) thought that "bearing false witness" meant. I got 17 answers and all of them said, lying!

Many Christians seem to have a poor view about Pagans, Wiccans and Heathens because they "believe" that these different groups worship the devil and they do evil things to people. Unlike our Christian cousins, we are not Christians denying our Christianity but people who truly believe in other Gods and Goddesses. The "fundies" are constantly parading born again Pagans who turned away from the devil and returned to Jesus. The fact that they found a Pagan or Wiccan who admitted that they were Wiccan/Pagan would not state that they were devil worshippers, cause we don't believe in the Christian devil or the Christian God.

So are Christians willing to admit that they having been bearing false witness against us?

Seriously. Have you ever read those verses that those who hate all of us like to quote in context? Did anyone bother to actually think for themselves and get the whole story rather than choosing to believe everything they heard? What do you think of this?

A few years back, at a Church camp, we had a real, traditional Passover meal. It was very detailed (there was a certain way of handwashing, we had to eat each thing when told to, each food had symbolism, there were four cups of grape juice that we drank when told to , etc.). I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to create a dinner similar to this for group of teens at my Church. All serious answers are greatly appreciated! God Bless!

Do your spells work for you and what areas of your life have they been most effective in?
I like the idea of lighting a candle and saying a little prayer...I am not about to start making voodoo dolls or anything like that. Just curious. Any books on simple spells! Thanks

People need to understand the difference between meccan and medinan verses. One set of verses was written when Muhammed was a minority, and it is filled with great stuff like respecting everyone and no compulsion in Islam. then, when he was strong enough to take Mecca forcefully, his verses started changing. instead of living peacefully and stuff, it turned to killing infidels and spreading the faith by the sword. since he has the power to force islam on people, he wasnt content to just tolerate others (IE the Jews of Khaybar who were visciously slaughtered and the women and children brought under slavery).

We can see this same pattern today. when muslims are a minority in a country, they talk about peace and tolerance (like america for the most part). but then, once a military power or numerical majority has been established (sudan, saudi), they start talking about killing the infidel. its a very well established pattern.

If not, what qualifies as a transitional fossil? Or maybe it's a hoax?

Of course the question isn't directed towards Intelligent Design proponents. I'll have one for you later.

J Jacob said this in an answer "this is a battlefield for the theists and the atheists.."

Why, or even how, should this be a battlefield for people with belief and the ones who lack it?

Now, I would agree this would be a battlefield for theists and anti-theists...

I do not have a problem with atheists on here, just the ones who are really anti-theists claiming the just lack the faith, but are constantly and opening attacking it every chance they get...

So...does anyone else agree with J Jacob that R&S is a battlefield for theists and atheists....or agree with me that it is a battleground for theists and anti-theists...

And of course, who knows it is a battlefield even though it should not be?

St peter cross for those who don't is the up side down cross. St peter was crucified upside down because he felt he was unworthy of being Crucified as christ did. I'm going to educate you on this I'm realy answering my own question on this. Alester crowley a satanist . Mixed this message up. Saying the st peters cross meant falling for the graces of god. Now saying that what is your view on this?

This was given in an answer as the first commandment,

(1) “You shall have no other gods before me.” This command is against worshiping any god other than the one true God. All other gods are false gods.

I don't understand this, wouldn't a "false god" not be a god at all?

All other gods?

Are there many gods and one that says only believe in him?

Just as prophecy says........ The False Messiah will soon rule the world with an iron fist from Israel.

The most Evil ruler in the history of mankind.

His "followers" will control all the govts and resources on the earth.

Any Govt which is not under their direct control will be invaded under the guise of the "war on terror".

i dislike islam because of its barbaric teaching and how evil it really is.

they always live behind that 'islam is a peacefull' religion motto but its far from it.
i never thought a religion can be so barbaric, cruel and so backward and yet they have many followers. i blame it on education.
