People need to understand the difference between meccan and medinan verses. One set of verses was written when Muhammed was a minority, and it is filled with great stuff like respecting everyone and no compulsion in Islam. then, when he was strong enough to take Mecca forcefully, his verses started changing. instead of living peacefully and stuff, it turned to killing infidels and spreading the faith by the sword. since he has the power to force islam on people, he wasnt content to just tolerate others (IE the Jews of Khaybar who were visciously slaughtered and the women and children brought under slavery).
We can see this same pattern today. when muslims are a minority in a country, they talk about peace and tolerance (like america for the most part). but then, once a military power or numerical majority has been established (sudan, saudi), they start talking about killing the infidel. its a very well established pattern.

Well, you are right. Muhammad twisted The Holy Bible to gain power. The problem is that ALL Muslims believe in islamic domination. They have to, it's in the quran and prophesied. Some will use force and violence to get that since allah and Muhammad said to. Others will slowly infiltrate a society, use the laws and freedoms of that society against them and take over. It's happening in Europe now. Sharia law occurring in England. Teachers afraid to talk about the Holocaust because they know the Muslims have been taught by their families and "religious" leaders that it never happened. And in America...Muslims wanting feet washers in airports and colleges. Muslim taxi drivers not allowing passengers with alcohol or dogs (even seeing eye dogs! Discrimination!!) in their cabs. It's allah's way or no way to them.

What people need to understand is that the only people who claim Islam is a violent religion--or that all muslims are potentially violent--are nothing but bigots trying to spread religious hatred.
You'll not e these are the same people who said nothing while "Christians" were doing their "ethnic cleansing" and mass rapes of muslim women in the former Yugoslavia. Where were their protests then? Where was their outrage? Where was their self-righteous hypocrisy?

Pretty much. I find it interesting that once they get strong enough, they charge a special 'tax' if you aren't Muslim. WTF is THAT???
