What is the difference if they do? Many religions have certain items worn that help remind them of God and the covenants they have made with God. Some wear a cross, some wear special collars, some wear special robes, LDS faithful wear a special garment. All of these serve as a constant reminder of promises made with God.

Yes. These special undergarments can be obtained only by those who are worthy to go the Temple of their Religion. Also, before someone tries to start this string, they view these garments as sacred, not secret.

Those of us who have been to the temple and had our endowments wear temple garments under ouro clothes to remind us of the covenants we made in the temple.

ex-mormon Ephecians 6:10-19 says to put on the full (invisible) armor of God, their is no need for special, temple armor, but mormons insist on it.

Yes, atleast the ones who have been through the temple are supposed, but is it really appropriate to ask what someone is wearing for underwear? I don't go around asking people boxers or briefs, commando or thong.

In all seriousness... yes, they wear "garments" and they are very sacred to believers... google it and you can see some pics... it's really not that mysterious...

Yeah, and even though they say they do it for modesty, by the looks of those pics posted above, the male one has quite the 'package'. Not very modest if you ask me.
