Doesn't it seem odd that God didn't tell Joseph to number things right from the start? So they had to change it later on?

Hitler believed in the Christian God. Mahatma Ghandi did not. Does that mean Hitler is in heaven and Ghandi is in hell? If you believe everyone who does not believe in the Christian God is going to hell, at least I'll be in the company of Mahatma ghandi, John Lennon, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln....remind me again why I would want to go to heaven?

Atheists claim to follow only logic and the evidence. But can one follow only the evidence and logically come to the conclusion that there is absolutely no possibility that God exists?

Even assuming that the currently popular theories of origins are completely correct (Darwinian Evolution coupled with the "Big Bang"), one has still not ruled out the possibility of God. While finding answers to many questions, science has seemingly created more questions than answers. If I had more space I would describe some of the qaundries, but as it pertains to the current question they really don't make a difference.

The most consistently logical and least assumptive conclusion is that God may or may not exist: Agnosticism.

If you disagree with my conclusion, then please describe in detail the evidence that you personally confirmed and tested that verifies with absolute certainty the non-existance of God.

"Since you have sinned my child, lied, stolen, acted with intolerance, exhibited hatred, in order for you to get into heaven and meet my Son you need to sacrifice one of your own for hell. Must be someone you love dearly. Or, you can all just go there and burn forever, I don't care. Who will you sacrifice? Children are preferred if you REALLY want to be happy up in heaven."

So, who would you sacrifice?

There use to be all sorts of Gods in the world, and formulated throughout history by all people to explain the unknown and the supernatural, God only answers questions.

God does not physically enrich the lives of others he explains the good fortunes and bad fortunes, unexpected, and unknown feats. Gods use to explain why the corn grew, and why the sun rose, but now Humans are getting smarter, and realize the real reason for the growth of corn, and the truth about our solar system, and the happenings around us.

Once we answer the questions of where we come from, and where we go when we die, What will Gods purpose be? will he simply fade, because it will become obvious that he was just another skape goat for the unexplained?

Please, no debate on whether God exists or not. That question will be debated for much longer than I have time for.

It doesn't make much sense to do this since most atheists have studied the Bible and the religion and found it lacking. Even worse are those who spout church dogma that isn't even backed by scriptures. Most questions that I, personally, ask are looking for different points of view, not preaching. Most of the time I'm not even interested in Christian views, but the views of Pagans, Muslims, Jews and others who may see things differently than I. For those who missed the point, this is Religion & Spirituality, not Christianity & Catholicism.

It's my life, the freedom to live the way I want. Why should they be able to tell me what's right and what's wrong? Maybe God only knows for sure?

I don't think God is against weed, and between me and Him, I must listen to my heart and come to the conclusion that there is an understanding. I don't think that smoking weed is wrong, it's not for everybody but it has it's place.

Wher do you stand and where do you think God stands on this issue?
