What if all you have is faith? All that I know for sure is the great God almighty and Jesus Christ. Everything else, I follow my heart.

I am an atheist, and everytime I tell someone this, they say, " You know something, there are no atheists in foxholes" Can you explain this to me because I don't get it.

Or is religion just a good way to get people "all riled up" to do your bidding?

Think about Israel/Palestine, India/Pakistan, and the Irish problem. . .

Are those really theological conflicts at heart, or are they turf wars. . .turf wars with the landlords shouting, "HOLY WAR!"?

the camp (this was when they wondered the widlernes) and yell "Unclean, unclean" because they were to warn the others not to touch them because they were highly contageous. Should homosexuals warn others as well? Should homosexuals today yell "unclean, unclean" like they folks with Leprosy did in the old day?

According to Revelations 1:7 "Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;" Look at that last part. It implies that the Roman soldiers who pierced Jesus during the cruxifiction will see Jesus come back. So, how is that? How will the now-dead Roman Soldiers see Jesus come back, considering that they are dead, and can't see anything?

I am a 13 year old girl if that will help.

My parents are Catholics. It's not that I have anything against it, but I don't know if it is the 'right' thing. How do I know which religion I should go for?

I don't want to stick with a religion simply because I was BORN into it.

(I do believe in God, as in the CHRISTIAN god. I just don't know what type of Christian I should be and how I will know).

I can't ask my parents for help because we don't have a good relationship, and they don't even go to church anymore.

And another question, can a CHRISTIAN explain the bible to me? I don't understand it. Are all the stories suppose to be true? What version should I read? There are so many different types, it's so CONFUSING!

TRUTH
. . . . . other definition: aught - everything. . . naught -- nothing

TRUTH

TRUTH is the one that does not change.
In all the world there are two things;
. . .the one is TRUTH and the other is falsehood.
TRUTH is aught has no beginning,
. . . falsehood is naught yet it is the manifest of aught.
Those that has a beginning must have and end,
. . . those that are made shall be unmade.
Those that can be seen by human eyes are naught and so must pass away.
The Holy Breath is the TRUTH, Is that which was , . . which is . . and forever more shall be,. . it can never change nor pass away.

Please analyze line by lines the contents and tell me the fallacy if there is such fallacy. Please do the explanation.
After maybe 5 hours I have the follow-up question that will confused anyone.
The source of this definition is not mine but a very reliable source that is quoted in the introduction of a person in the movie, The Ten Commandments.

For those who don't believe in God
what if one day your child tells you, that he/she wants to learn about God and read the bible and go to church, what do you tell them?
This is just a question out of curiosity... *smiles*

Be specific in which religions, types of schools, and in what way it is taught. Try to seperate elementry, middle, and high school apart. I like to hear your opinions on touchy matters so I thought of yet another one.

Since I have a teenage girl and preteen boy, I do not want them exposed to adult content without a proper warning. These are some of the scriptures that I think are deserving of a warning label. Genesis 38:9, Judges 11: 38-39, Numbers 31: 17-18, 2Kings 2: 22-23, Song of Solomon 2: 3, Ezekiel 23: 29, Mathew 2:3

I found many fatwas from Muslims scholars that order Muslims to HATE Jews and Christians. Some of the fatwas can be found in the following links (most of them are in Arabic):

http://www.binbaz.org.sa/index.php?pg=mat&type=article&id=312

Should not Muslims re-consider their situation andstart building bridges with non-Muslims?

For example, in Christian Europe, there may be 30 different languages. Thus, 30 different words for "God". Do Italian Catholics worship a different God than do French Catholics?

If not, then why can't we add the word "Allah" or "Buddha" or whatever people call the Almighty to the list?

I'm not expressing my question very well, so let me try again. . .

Why do people believe that those from different backgrounds worship a God other than our own? In fact, how can they POSSIBLY worship any God other than our own, if God is the same for everywhere and all times?
