And tell me how you would feel if a Muslim came and did the same right back to you only with a Koran?
Take a hint he doesn't want any parts of your religion, leave him alone.
P.S. he can go to your boss and have you fired for workplace harrassment. Under Title VII, an employer has an affirmative obligation to maintain a work environment free of harassment, intimidation and repeated insult. It is noteworthy that proselytizing may rise to the level of harassment. The employer’s obligation extends to situations where he or she knows of the harassment or has reason to know of it and does nothing to clear up the situation. If fellow employees are creating a hostile work environment through religious harassment, the employee has an obligation to notify his or her supervisor of the harassment. If the harassment continues after the supervisor is notified, the employee may file a complaint of discrimination against the employer.
The Supreme Court held that harassment need not seriously affect employees’ psychological well-being in order to be problematic under Title VII so long as the environment would reasonably be perceived, and is perceived, as hostile or abusive. Harris v. Forklift Systems, Inc. 510 U.S. 17 (1993).

First of all, work is not the place to bring religion, no matter what your beliefs.
Second, why are you trying to show an atheist your scripture. They live by different standards and dont want to be forced into reading your ways.

What the heck kind of job do you have where you don't have to work and can harass co-workers all day instead?
Who do you think you are, calling people "fools" just because they don't agree with your arrogant, myopic views?
If I were your boss I'd tell you to get that book off your desk now, don't bring it back to the work place again, and anymore antagonism against fellow workers and your a$$ is grass!
Do your work! Preach on your own time! And F off.

*Poke* Oh, maybe because you called him a fool for not following your beliefs.. Heck, even YOU don't follow your own beliefs. If you did, you'd be on a quest to kill all unruly teenagers, all the women who had sex before marriage, the people those women had sex with, and then you'd be trying to make everyone else a slave. Jeez. Read your own Bible before calling someone a "fool".

Because you did it at work, which is inappropriate in itself....I have a co worker who talks religion all the time and I had to tell him, to cool it, that it was inappropriate especially on the work floor plus I have my own beliefs and I request you respect them and not try to change them just because of what you believe...so....be tolerant of others who may have other beliefs and ideals that are different than yours and respect that, you wouldn't want them top try and change your beliefs , would you?

Because atheists say there is no God, and in showing the atheist the scripture "The fools says in there heart there is no God" he was being called a fool. What the Bible says is true, but it doesn't mean people are going to take it very well... even if they don't believe in it.

You have got to realize that everybody does not need you to preach to them. You shouldn't be doing that at work either. If you want to share your faith, that's fine, but some people just don't wish to be a part of that world. It also gives a feeling to some people (myself included) that you are putting them down for not believing what you believe. To me, that is just not right.

Because you have NO BUSINESS proselytising at work or anywhere else. You would have deserved to have your teeth knocked out for doing what you did. Besides, what you did was illegal. Just keep your bible to yourself. If your co-workers want to read what's in it, they'll ask OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL.

So you have a book that says that people who don't believe what the book says are stupid.
This level of manipulation shouldn't work on anybody past grade school.
It's illogical and hateful. Its inclusion in your religious text should tell you something about your god.
Read Letter to a Christian Nation, will you?
