I saw the same thing, and have seen it several times. It's a very contradictory notion.

Everyone has free will choice. God has no favorites.
The sun shines on the Good as well as the not so good.
The Spirit will remind you that God did not go away and is always there in your time of need. Ask and you shall receive.
If you had a son, would you want him to Love you because you want him to or because you forced him to?
The Spirit only Draws those who have a heart and mind of acceptance and openness to believe. All others close the door and make the separation from God by your own choice.

Coming to God is a Commitment. There has to be some effort on the person's part to want to have a relationship with Him.. Thus the " Drawing " takes place. The so called " Others" are individuals who are not interested or want to lead a life that harmonizes with his Will. We are afterall creatures of Choice. Person's of note in the Bible that would be classified as ' Other " would be Judas, Adam, Cain to name a few. The " Drawn " ones would be Abel, Enoch, Jacob, the 11 Disciples..and the list goes on and on.

No. it means all others are lost, it is refering to the spirit of man seeking a power greater than himself, (just my opinion) not the other way around. God is loving caring and kind, and does not play favorites. He loves you enough to let you sin or kill yourself of your own free will, (if that is what you prefer) so in a way I guess you are right in a way about all others being free, to do what ever they please. God wants everybody to think for themselves, and doesn't dictate a persons will, or else everybody would be a part of God and not human.

Wait what?? That's not right. It's no one can get to the Father (God) unless they believe in Jesus. No God does not play favorites. He loves everyone. He just wants you to be saved from your sins, and he loves you.

God places a call on the heart or the spirit of all individuals at one time or another or perhaps even several times in their life. It is up to us however if we heed his call to us.
Free? Yes, free to make your own choice.

the point is that in our natural state we are not attracted to God - it says something about our inner selfishness.
God says that he is trying to draw all men unto him. So there is no favorites at all - everybody is being wooed by the spirit. Many reject the offer.

Romans 9:18
So then He has mercy on whomever He wills (chooses) and He hardens (makes stubborn and unyielding the heart of) whomever He wills.

No, a loving God does not play favorites but he does know who will respond and who won't.Just as Nebuchadnezzer did and Pharoah did not. Both were equally evil .
