There use to be all sorts of Gods in the world, and formulated throughout history by all people to explain the unknown and the supernatural, God only answers questions.

God does not physically enrich the lives of others he explains the good fortunes and bad fortunes, unexpected, and unknown feats. Gods use to explain why the corn grew, and why the sun rose, but now Humans are getting smarter, and realize the real reason for the growth of corn, and the truth about our solar system, and the happenings around us.

Once we answer the questions of where we come from, and where we go when we die, What will Gods purpose be? will he simply fade, because it will become obvious that he was just another skape goat for the unexplained?

The more education you have, the less likely you are to be brainwashed into a religion. That is why they always try to get them while they are real young.

No Mr.What. That is your idea logy base on theory and reason. You have not the wisdom in understanding about God. I am not accusing you of ignorance or your knowledge. You cannot understand from standing from the outside or looking from an angle. The present President of the US is a strong believer of God. The president of Iran is a strong believer of God. So is billion worldwide. Strip yourself of your worldly assets and knowledge ,being bare you will see and understand about the truth of God. It is good that you have taken a peep here. Do you meditate? It is not a religion, It is the beginning of wisdom. So is this step you are taking. Do not pooh pooh from other answerer coz' you might see why there is life after knowing the answer of where we came from and going to after death from God. Seek you, the answer of your own idea logy or from the people of Faith, I don't know, but do not belittle them, for it is you who ask............ I taught you are of high learning. I am wrong . Now read my answer carefully and in time you might understand. It is all about awakening.

Gods as they were once, human in action and thought, have been leaving us as we gain knowledge of the universe. There is a genuine need fulfilled by spirituality and a more amorphous sense of godhead emerges. As we answer questions, we gain an understanding of the universe, there is nothing that says we aren't coming closer to a better understanding of something more than ourselves. Some gods may have been scape-goats in the past, but spirituality has a real place in our lives. To write the religions of the past and present off as foolish childishness negates its roots and the place it has in our lives.

This may be true for the Christian god as the foundations of Christianity were built before many scientific discoveries. It seems insulting to deny truth in science and to view it as a battle between the two, when to me, God is proven in science. You would think that those who dispute scientific facts who embrace the phenomena and attribute them to God's greatness rather deny them.

No, more education does not reduce God. But the wiser some think they are, education or no education, can be reduced. If some get so wise that they think they're smarter than God, God can, and will reduce their wise thinking to mere foolishness, And He will let them wallow around in their foolishness......1 Cor. 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

In general, the more educated one is, the less likely one will believe in a god. However, there will, IMO, always be humans with a need to invent the perfect parent instead of maturing.
