Following is an excerpt from the document, Pastoral Care for the Road:

The exercise of charisty by drivers regards love of travellers whose lives should not be endangered by incorrect and careless manoeuvres that may cause harm to both passengers and pedestrians. The word “love” is used here to mean the many forms taken by genuine charity, namely respect, courtesy, consideration, etc. Good drivers courteously give way to pedestrians, are not offended when overtaken, allow someone who wishes to drive faster to pass and do not seek revenge.

Is this something that a church should guide people in doing?

I'm thinking it is sex. Sex creates life ( the tree of life).
Cain was bad so it could be that he was Satans son as he had sex with Eve first.

Good morning, my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you are all doing well today. How AWESOME is our God, huh? I have already touched on the subject of the Lord our Shepherd in another post, today I would like to touch on it again.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me besides the still waters. Psalm 23
When the psalmist says, " He maketh me lie down", he is not referring to an enforced rest. Rather, he is saying that because the Shepherd has met the sheeps needs, the sheep can lie down.
It is believed that it is impossible for sheep to lie down unless four things are true:
1. They must be free from hunger
2. They must be free from fear
3.They must be free from friction (from each other)
and 4. They must be free from pests (outside influences)
How do we get "freedom from hunger?"
Like Newborn babes, long for the pure milk of the Word, that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.1 Peter 2:2Standby..

The short answer: No.

The living God does not "send" people to Hell. He only honors their request to go. The living God does not send "people" to Hell, only "sinners" go and then only by request. He honors our decisions.

So a better question might be...

Why would someone choose Hell over Heaven?

Jesus teaches us that there will be pain, eternal torment, weeping and gnashing of teeth. Why would some choose this for an eternity?

Serious answers only. If you do not believe in Heaven or Hell, then please move on to the next question. Thanks!

This woman I know is an ATHEIST and she is a size 3, and I've been wanting to be that thin for years and PRAYING about it, and I'm still a size 22. She makes me so mad every time I see her. I honestly don't want to be her friend anymore because, among other reasons, I am jealous of her weight. She makes me sick.

Was his prediction of 9/11 just a coincidence?:

Garden of the world near to the new city,
In the road of hollow mountains,
It will be seized and run into the tank,
Forced to drink water poisoned with sulphur.

And now I ask: Do you believe the writings of Nostradamus? Or do you believe it's just a big hoax?

After I did my daily chores (fed dogs and cats, fixed coffee) I logged on to Yahoo answers. I checked for any new best answers I may have gotten. I then picked best answers for the questions I asked yesterday. Now I will scan the new list of questions to see if I know the answer to any of these questions. Have you noticed that this section, Religion and Spirituality is a bit different than other sections in Yahoo Answers. I ask questions periodically in other categories and the answers I get are less contraversial and I actually get helpful advice. LOL. Is this section of Yahoo Answers like an addictive game or just a crazy obsession? What are you thoughts?

These are the basic beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There are 13 Articles of Faith... I have posted 1 - 5 previous to this one if you want to go back and look.

Here is the Article:

We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.

Again, I am looking to see if you agree or disagree with these principles... not any biased "opions" on what people think Mormons believe.

Many people ask what Mormon's believe... these Articles of Faith explain it in it's simplest form. Most Christians will see that we share a lot of the same beliefs.

¶ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator
(Romans 1:18-23, 25)

Can you explain the meaning of these verses?

Question # 2.) Three parts(degrees) of heaven?---40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from antother star in glory 42 so also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.

Does this mean that there are three parts of heaven and heaven is more than just a mystical, unimmaginable place?

In addition to being rather dense and a proven incompetent, he is also an Apocalypt: one of those folks who believes that the End of the World is soon. This may mean that he'll do whatever he can to move the process along, making it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Why not? He actually thinks God talks to him personally! (The Loony Bins are full of people whom God talks to.) Bush is on the record as saying that God told him to invade Iraq!

To make it worse, his opposite number in Iran, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, is an Apocalypt too. He's waiting for the return of the Islamic Messiah, the Mahdi. The two of them could inadvertently cooperate in pushing us into World War III. By their thinking, increasing the level of chaos in the world will force the hand of their respective Messiahs.

But both are wrong. No one's coming. No one will clean up the mess we make. Gee, wouldn't it be better not to make a mess at all? To have policy made by someone playing with all his marbles?
