I used to frequently get shocked by the incredible amount of ignorance in the answers and questions I see posted on Yahoo and I wish I could say that the ignorance no longer phased me, but that's no true. It's amazing how closed-minded and arrogant people can be without even attempting to understand a view point other than their own.

Shocked at the level of what education did you say? I missed that one. Are we assuming there must be a vast uneducated public? my,my. and who might have all that knowledge that everyone must surely want or need? does that who holds such a treasure as wisdom , have an identity? And for the record. What does consitution mean to you? it's one of your words used in the paragraph of intended insult. thank you.

I'm shocked at the level of ignorance of some of the people that *do* read the question thoroughly.
Christians think marriage was invented by their God and handed down by Adam and Eve!

Yes and No. Many people are dug in deep to "defend" what they believe. As admerable as this might be it can thwart spiritual evolution by failing to agree to, at minimum, to Think it through and above all, Reason it out.
What I am seeing is default to the "bible" syndrom and dogmatic responses; in whole, many cannot agree to disagree as they fight amoungst themselves more than they do those not of "their faith".
In this "spritual" area I am finding deep trenches of guilt, pain and no reasoning or on many occasions, no thinking.
Very Dogmatic and a challenge. It's great.

i'm getting a great deal shocked whilst a superbly harmless question gets deleted. i will in no way make certain why.a couple of minutes in the past, a woman asked a question approximately her little ones names and commented that her mom in regulation hated her. i advance into answering her whilst the question advance into deleted. Why?
