Good morning, my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you are all doing well today. How AWESOME is our God, huh? I have already touched on the subject of the Lord our Shepherd in another post, today I would like to touch on it again.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me besides the still waters. Psalm 23
When the psalmist says, " He maketh me lie down", he is not referring to an enforced rest. Rather, he is saying that because the Shepherd has met the sheeps needs, the sheep can lie down.
It is believed that it is impossible for sheep to lie down unless four things are true:
1. They must be free from hunger
2. They must be free from fear
3.They must be free from friction (from each other)
and 4. They must be free from pests (outside influences)
How do we get "freedom from hunger?"
Like Newborn babes, long for the pure milk of the Word, that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.1 Peter 2:2Standby..

Hello and you asked a question i will touch on here, you asked a question on being free from hunger but be carefull the bible might not speaking your understanding in this area, in John 6 after Jesus fed the multitude He was met by that same crowd, because they were looking at Jesus as a source for there food needs "only" but what did He say, in verse 35, "I AM The bread of life... God will supply our physcial needs but that IS NOT our greatest need, what we need is a change of diet and to feed on The Word which is Jesus Christ, God bless. www.itiswritten.com

I also learned that if a sheep falls into a crevice or off a cliff and is hurt, the shepherd won't lift him up until he stops fighting.
So, it is best for us not to fight God, but let him heal us and lift us from where we have fallen.

No! Offense. I wish I could say "YES" but then I would be lying, to be honest with you, as long as I have known HIM, worshiped HIM and trusted in HIM, never ONCE, he has showed any mercy on me, I don't know what to believe anymore.........:(
It breaks my heart to say this and I'm sorry, no offense to anybody.

What's the question? This is completely against the community guidelines. Maybe you have no respect for rules. If you want to offer guidance, you should find a chat room. This isn't it.
