In addition to being rather dense and a proven incompetent, he is also an Apocalypt: one of those folks who believes that the End of the World is soon. This may mean that he'll do whatever he can to move the process along, making it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Why not? He actually thinks God talks to him personally! (The Loony Bins are full of people whom God talks to.) Bush is on the record as saying that God told him to invade Iraq!

To make it worse, his opposite number in Iran, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, is an Apocalypt too. He's waiting for the return of the Islamic Messiah, the Mahdi. The two of them could inadvertently cooperate in pushing us into World War III. By their thinking, increasing the level of chaos in the world will force the hand of their respective Messiahs.

But both are wrong. No one's coming. No one will clean up the mess we make. Gee, wouldn't it be better not to make a mess at all? To have policy made by someone playing with all his marbles?

Rather bold statement about Bush's beliefs. FYI, Bush is a Methodist, and also attends the Episcopal church. Both of these churches are Amillennialist in their eschatology. They aren't apocalyptic in their theology.

You just have a political viewpoint, and wish to scare people using bad information.

And the whole "Bush is on the record as saying that God told him to invade Iraq" is not a credible report. Two "Palestinian" ministers spoke with the BBC, and only one said that Bush said this. As though they would say anything positive about Bush to begin with. Bush even said that he never said that, but since you believe that "Bush lied, people died," nothing I can say will dissuade you from perpetuating myths. Enjoy your Kool-Aid.

36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

In this chapter, Jesus addressed those who hold your opinion, that his return would never happen. This is only a small part of what he had to say to you.

UPDATE: Celtic Rose....do you understand what it is you just advocated?? I'm guessing you aren't a US citizen and don't fear prosecution. I'll go ahead and tell you to your face...I just reported you.

Yeah, when will people wake up and see that whatever it is they believe in, there's someone else who believes just as strongly the opposite. Who's right, who's wrong? Nobody can ever know, but it's completely the opposite of civilised to bomb the hell out of each other over childish fantasies.

The only reason why he's dangerous is because he believes he's intelligent and because he is the ruler of a massive weapon; the entire country of the USA.

Why he still hasn't been assasinated is beyond me; I was under the impression that by now, people would have started to get in line and pick numbers before having a chance at hurting poor old GW...

The one thing more dangerous than having intelligence, is thinking that you have it.

And I still say GW is schizophrenic.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. Then why did he spend the past 6 or so years making all his oil and haliburton friends rich? If the world ends, how are they gonna spend all that money?

Source for proof. Bush is not an Apocolypt. Are you making it up as you go along?

You hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately, the nail was not sitting on top of Bush.
