Neither ! Faith, based on uninformed or incorrect facts misleads a LOT of people down some VERY strange paths in their lives. And, just having a bunch of FACTS without having Faith in those facts is like having a whole ring of keys with NO locks to unlock. They're totally useless.

I believe in INFORMED Faith. Faith built on facts from MANY places and events. The MORE facts that you have from independent sources, the more solid that your Faith will be. Too much damage has been done to this World in the name of Blind Faith and too much damage has been done by people following the WRONG facts. We need BOTH and LOTS of both, to insure that the paths of our lives is correct and proper for EACH of us.

Hello and blind faith is called presumption, but faith, real faith accepts the abundance of proof of God's Love and goes from there, the facts are Bible based and there is more then enough proof for anyone really looking for the faith in which to live as God requires, www.itiswritten.com

I don't need blind faith, my God is fact based. Let me give you a few examples:
I needed an answer about something really important. While I knew I shouldn't ask God for proof, I asked him to make a perched bird fly to a particular point I had in mind. The bird went. I've had that happen three times so far.
I am psychic. I don't ask for you to believe. Every time I do a reading for someone I don't know, I am always right, never any mistakes. I know that comes from a still, small voice inside. I know who that comes from because I've always had it and always knew. It comes from God. I've always been able to hear Him.
I know God. I feel God. I hear God, and when I ignore Him, I am always sorry I did.
One time I heard Him tell me not to go on my motorcycle. I wanted to go, so I did. I broke my leg, and it's still bad after 25 years. I just injured it again, I'm 50 now. He meant it when he warned me.
I have so much I'd like to tell about, but enough is enough.

Blessed Be

Facts are okay, but are always a "a posteriori" knowledge. A fact is something that has already happened or is currently happening. So far, so good.

Faith is complementary and superior to facts. It relates to past, present and future.

The important thing of faith is that it can only be put on G-d and His word, which is always truth.

Though I am not a Jew, in my book, the inspired Word of G-d consists in the Written Torah --the TaNaKh-- and the Oral Torah. The original of the Written Torah is written in Hebrew, the Holy Tongue. (You must take into account that there is a immense amount of information lost in translation.)

You can't live without both. Blind faith is really foolishness, and without faith you cannot move forward or step out in life (because the future isn't an established fact yet).

Our soul has two faculties, seeing and hearing. There is light within us and sound within us. In order to experience them, we must open the third eye. Until then, we need to go on blind faith. It is the first stage in mysticism. If we wait for facts, we will never gain transcendant planes of consciousness. Therefore, blind faith is essential. Without faith, there will be no God-Realization.

Masters teach us that TRUTH exists within us. Until we realize it, ourselves, we must go on faith. This is the reason that all Great Mystics have emphasized the necessity of it.

I don't know of any other subject where you can only research with 1 book. Anything else, you can gather different sorts of info from all types of sources.
Blind faith means that one could drive blindfolded and crash and proclaim that it was predetermined.
People pray for small things while others are suffering.
Action works a whole lot better than prayer.

Faith is not blind. We have faith based on past performance. Like hiring a contractor. Based on past performance of ther jobs, we have faith he will do a good job for you.

We have faith in Jehovah and in His Word, the Bible based on what He has done before. The Bible has been proved true countless times in the past and present so we have faith for the future truths.
