Seriously people, whats up?

I decided to even things out!

Christianity: Crusades, Salem witch trails, abortion clinic bombings, how some crazy Christian group whips their children because the devil made them eat a cookie before dinner

Judaism: Some guy went into a food court and started shooting randomly screaming ‘In the name of Yahweh’

Buddhism: Burning ones self alive in protest of a worldly action

It might be this. Maybe you haven't given the Lord everything. Are you holding back from giving him your WHOLE life? Maybe your the type that can't ever admit when your wrong. It's hard for you because you're afraid to. Or maybe you gave him everything but you still love money. Or perhaps you never thought about giving him everything. All of these things can be a stumbling block to having a joyous walk with Him.

I'll gladly put up with the Atheist comments if this might bless someone today.

You do realise there are many people of all different "beliefs" or "knowledge" that call themselves "Christians", don't you? That is why you get such a variety of answers. What are your opinions about this?

or a life threatning situation that if you did not listen to the dream or vision you could have died. Or may be you have had a prophetic dream about somebody else and it came true , like telling them to go to the doctors and gta check up and they do and find they have an illness and it gets treated. I have had a few preophetic ones, for eg back at the end of 2000 I had an abnormal pap smear (CIN2) and refused to get treated, and kept putting it of for a few months becasue I wanted to die, as I just lost my 10 years old daughter from my care, and everything else was going wrong too. Then one night while saying at my mothers house I had a prophetic dream from God warning me that if I did not get something done about it I will eventually die. It can take a few years to go from CIN2 to cervical cancer. It was pre cancerous cells, that would have tured nastry if I did not go to the oncoloty department and have surgery. I did and that saved my life. I get checked out every 2 years.

Please enlighten me on these two verses:

In fact, as for those who reject Faith; it is the same, whether you warn them or you
don't, they will not believe.[6] Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, their
eyes are covered, and there is a grievous punishment for them.[7] (Surah The Cow)

Every time a question comes up about the way women dress, Muslim girls on here are always insulting the way women in the West dress, saying they look like prostitutes (don't believe me? I'll show you a few recent comments I've found).

Just because a woman chooses not to cover her head does not mean that she falls into the polar category. There are many women in America (and europe, etc) who dress conservatively because they want to. American women are no more subject to men's wishes than Muslim women - I choose the way I dress, I am not influenced by men or by the media.

If you want us to respect you and your choices, respect us too.

If they consider U2 as Christian Rock (as heard from someone who consider them Christian Rock because they refer to God and Jesus, and have morales in their songs) - does that mean that the Killers are Christian Rock as well? (They refer to Jesus as well, even as the saviour!)

What is this christian yoga??
These christians borrow different things from different religons and say it as theirs
What is this christian yoga??
When did Jesus preached Yoga??
And they say Vedas does not belong to Hindus and is a universal one.
some jesuits live in ashrams like a Hindu saint or rishi and are trying to convert Hindus(eg kurisumala, santivanam)

If these people keep doing like this, then surely Hindu terrorists are goin to spring...

This verse seems to imply that this is an objective unit of distance, which all the readers of the text (as dont forget the original christians were jews) would be familiar with (for if not, this term would be meaningless to the readership). But nowhere in the scripture is there specified a maximum permissible distance which one may walk on the sabbath. All scripture states (Ex. 16:29) is that everyone should stay where they are and not go out of their place, on the sabbath. This is certainly not specific at all, and can even be construed as expressly forbidding any travel/walking on the sabbath at all. Perhaps once can construe Is. 58:13 as having some bearing on the matter, but that verse certainly does not add any further clarity regarding any objective definition of a sabbath's day walk.
What objective and universal standard for that which is considered to be a sabbath day's walk can there be, seeing that it is not specified anywhere in scripture?
Thanks.

Are they admitting they are moral relativists? They have said in other questions that polygamy was okay during the Old Testament days, but that God changed his mind and now it isn't anymore. Or, they say that it was a different culture and our modern culture should have different rules. That sounds like relativism to me.

We want our two children to make their own mind up about religion when they are old enough. They are currently 2 and 4. The 4 year old was recently told by one of her teachers that 'God Loves her',

is this right? I think it is akin to recruiting to cult via emotional blackmail. What are your thoughts good people?

I am remodeling my mom's OLD house and I had to go through trillions of dust, mold, dirty carpet (LOTS), a whole colony of some kind of worms that had already hatched....

and know I am probably close to dying from exhaustion not to mention probably toxic inhalation...........AND I'm NOT even a quarter done!

Why am I doing this? Because I love my mom and I want her house to look nice, clean, and brand spankin' new when I tackle it.

I'm going to paint the walls and after that dries I am going to put laminate flooring woohoo. That's just the living room, I still have to tackle the bathroom, kitchen, dining, stairs, hallway, and 3 bedrooms!!!!!!!! and a bathroom upstairs!!!!!!

I'm asking you to please pray for me lol. I'm exhausted but content.
