we are not suppose to date outside of the religion. but many do. sometimes it can have problems in the marriage, because of the holidays or not letting the witness go to meetings and study. that is why many don't date someone who is not a Jehovah Witness. 1 Corinthians 15 verse 33. bad associates spoil useful habits

Dating is serious among Jehovah's Witnesses. We view it not as a recreational thing but, as a way to find an appropriate marriage mate. If you are looking for someone to marry, would it not make sense to find someone with similiar beliefs. Many people have dated outside the faith, and eventually someone in the relationship has to compromise. A person is free to make their own choice, but they have to also realize they are the ones that have to deal with the results. This is based on the Bible principles of uneven yoking, and not marrying an unbeliever, which is in 1 Corithians.

It is a shame that in this day and age there are still people who follow religion like sheep. We are all human beings, with different beliefs of why we are here, but that shouldn't stop us being happy with the person we love. Why do religious organisations want to exert such control over people? Why do people want to be so controlled? Religion and spirituality should be about living a good life and not causing harm to others. Live and let live. Tell your friend to exercise his human rights and make his own choices and tell his parents and religious organisation to stuff it!

Jehovah Witnesses are very strict with their regulations and limitations. I think they recommend highly someone of their religion but if it's outside, you can not have sex with them whatsoever!

No!!! They have a strict policy not to for they believe they will be unevenly yoked, how ever it has happened but they frown upon it.
