It might be this. Maybe you haven't given the Lord everything. Are you holding back from giving him your WHOLE life? Maybe your the type that can't ever admit when your wrong. It's hard for you because you're afraid to. Or maybe you gave him everything but you still love money. Or perhaps you never thought about giving him everything. All of these things can be a stumbling block to having a joyous walk with Him.

I'll gladly put up with the Atheist comments if this might bless someone today.

Why do so many of you think I am saying you can't have money or possessions?? I said "love" money and I meant that you need to give him your finances, not that you shouldn't have any.

I am also not talking about sin. I'm talking about giving God Lordship over ever area of your life.

I have given Him my whole life and do His Works.. As Christians, we always feel we can do more for Him. That is not uncommon.
We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. He knows we are mere humans and we make mistakes but He forgives us for them.
I never ask Him for anything that I want because I am blessed that He gives me all my needs.
We stumble and fall, like little children first learning to walk but Jesus is right there to pick up back up, dust us off and set us back on the right road...
It is wonderful that I do not HAVE to partake in the worldly things, I am happy in my walk with Jesus, staying focused on Him.
There is nothing wrong with having money but not sharing it to help others is wrong. We are to help those in need...
Blessings to you, have a wonderful day!

I know my sins. I believe, as God was close with David, despite his sins. God can understand why I do what I do. There are good reasons. Besides that we are all imperfect, being BORN in sin. The only cleansing from that is through Jesus. We are supposed to be "Christ-like". The NT also says, if any man says there is no sin in him, he is calling God a liar and God is not in him. I will be judged by Jesus, same as everyone else. I'm really not concerned about your or other people's opinions. I have to try to do the will of God the best I can. If he decides to give me death. So be it. I do want eternal life. However, it is God's will that matters. As far as, "A joyous walk" , if you love God, as he first loved us, it is joyous. Just to know that one day everything that is hurtful and all sin will be destroyed.

Stand for holiness
Stand for righteousness
and be counted among them that shall reign with Him

Stand when friends are gone
Stand when you're all alone
and believe He shall receive His own

Hallelujah!

Jesus was very clear on this. Sell everything you own and follow him. If you have a car, a television, a cell phone, a computer, you are not right with God!

Occasionally, yes, I feel this way. Is that your real eye?

If the atheists bother ya too much, send 'em my way, I'll tell 'em a dirty joke and make them forget about you.

Maybe God doesn't want us to be perfect. That's why we're human. He cares for us with all our faults and sins. This is how we learn and evolve!
