Well, I was celebrating in a way, I was working all day long in the scorching sun, LOL!
I don't know, I wish I could go to some proper celebration, but there isn't any in this part of the world. I'll probably just light a small fire and have a drink. If I can get some friend pagans over, we might celebrate on a larger scale this weekend. Better late than never...

Love to, if I lived anywhere near Canada... ;-)

I'm making homemade lemon sorbet, and we're going to have sun-burgers on the barbeque (burgers came in the shape of a sunburst, who knew?) and read bedtime stories with the appropriate symbolic animals. After the kids are in bed I'm going to make a ritual pentagram, something I rarely do, but life has been challenging this year and I could use the focus. I'm going to work on my strength and patience.

Yes, but it'll be a bit muted since I have to travel this weekend (my cousin and my wife's cousin are getting married), and it's never really clicked with me as a Sabbat. I tend to treat the Fourth of July more as a summer celebration, though of course I'm sure that's not applicable in Canada. :-)

well tonight i'm going to a show that celebrates solstice. then for the weekend i'm going camping on the beach with a bonfire (gotta have abonfire on solstice!) and then hanging out at the solstice festival all weekend with every cool cat from around the world! I also put garden herbs on my doorknobs.

LOL if there was a wiccan festival in tennessee I would never go because I would be afraid of the southern baptists chasing us down with torches and pitchforks!
I'm sure I'll have a big dinner, invite my friends, have a nice private ceremony with the family and go to bed. But I envy you, sounds like fun. : (

A long nature walk, meditation in my garden and quiet time with my hubby. I wish there was a gathering somewhere near where I live but not so I just do my own thing. Have a Happy Day!

Attending a "Moot" with other heathens up in the Texas Hill Country . . . as a gothi, I'll be conducting a Sunnasblot, and there'll also be a sumbel and feast, and a bale fire. And mead! :-)

We had a circle at my house this past Sunday. And then in true Wiccan tradition, a pot luck feast afterwards. Hope you have a great time.

Bright Blessings )O(

I think I will celebrate by going to the beach (which I do almost every day anyways, but next time I will remember that I am celebrating!)

Have fun!

Does lounging around and reading count as celebration?
