Grieved. It's not their call to say who goes to hell and who does not. Christians are to preach the good news of salvation through the Hebrew Messiah. If the Jews decide to reject the good news, that is their choice.

But remember also that many Christians are goaded into such statements. I see this all the time. "What? So what your saying is that if I don't accept Jesus I'm going to hell!?" Such questions are dishonest because the hearer cares nothing about the truth or the good news. All they wish to do is obtain an answer that will offend enough to justify their rejection of it.

It would be like standing in a lifeboat and calling to those on the Titanic to get in. "What? So what your saying is that if I don't get in the lifeboat I'm doomed?" To that I would ignore you and go to the next person who WANTS to get in the lifeboat.

The Jewish people should understand better than anyone that if you do not deal with sin according to God's prescription, then sin will not be dealt with, and consequence will ensue.

Numbers 9:13
But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person shall be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of the LORD at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin.

If God, indeed, has given His Son as a sacrifice for sin (as seen prophetically in the Passover) then it is up to them to study and act accordingly. But this consequence is not just limited to the Jews, we ALL must make a decision whether to accept the free gift of salvation or not.

Personally, I feel that if someone really believes that I am going to burn in hell for eternity, they should at least have the guts to admit it. But I realize that most of my fellow Jews don't feel the same way. And it's sort of a slippery slope between religious honesty and plain anti-semitism.

It makes me sad that people could so blithely tell another that they are doomed for all eternity to burn in torment. It makes me feel debased when people say that I am deluded to believe differently. What is the point of doing that? Do they believe that saying something so awful will cause Jews to convert? I would never presume to tell anyone else what they should hold in their hearts and believe....it's just not right. Why can't we all just accept our differences and learn to live cooperatively? Will that ever happen in the U.S.A., do you think?

Ashamed for those Christians.

After all, Jews only go to heaven/hell according to their own religion, and not another one.

I'm Jewish, and since I believe that I have my own path to the world to come it doesn't bother me at all--it's like someone speaking a foreign language.

Many are following the path to destruction. How do I feel about it? I am saddened by their choices. It doesn't mean I will stop praying for them. I don't feel the need or think I need to tell them I am praying for them. Like Nike, I just do it.

Narrow is the gate to Heaven, wide is the path to destruction.

I feel like we are human and cannot judge anyone's souls.

When we start to judge others, we are setting ourselves up for a fall.

Peace!
