By "new Christianity" I mean the largest religious group in the world. As popular as Christianity.

Would atheists and Christians finally ban together?

I mean, it's one of the five things we do agree on; Scientology is weird.

What would you do? What would we do? What do you think the world would be like?

1 John 3:4-12 (Contemporary English Version)

4Everyone who sins breaks God's law, because sin is the same as breaking God's law. 5You know that Christ came to take away sins. He isn't sinful, 6and people who stay one in their hearts with him won't keep on sinning. If they do keep on sinning, they don't know Christ, and they have never seen him.
7Children, don't be fooled. Anyone who does right is good, just like Christ himself. 8Anyone who keeps on sinning belongs to the devil. 9God's children cannot keep on being sinful. His life-giving power [c] lives in them and makes them his children, so that they cannot keep on sinning. 10You can tell God's children from the devil's children, because those who belong to the devil refuse to do right or to love each other.

Atheists seem to be able to respond with humor to anything: religion, God, evil, their own death, pretty much anything you throw at them.

Christians seem to get real serious and refuse to laugh on so many subjects.

What does that tell us about the mental state of atheists vs that of Christians?

Before answering the APA say this:
No. Psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health professionals agree that homosexuality is not an illness, mental disorder or an emotional problem. Over 35 years of objective, well-designed scientific research has shown that homosexuality, in and itself, is not associated with mental disorders or emotional or social problems. Homosexuality was once thought to be a mental illness because mental health professionals and society had biased information.

In the past the studies of gay, lesbian and bisexual people involved only those in therapy, thus biasing the resulting conclusions. When researchers examined data about these people who were not in therapy, the idea that homosexuality was a mental illness was quickly found to be untrue.

In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association confirmed the importance of the new, better designed research and removed homosexuality from the official manual that lists mental and emotional disorders.

An egg is so designed that it does not easily fall from a ledge.( This is to illistrate my point.) If the egg has evolved over millions of years to its present form, evolution is capable of design through trial and error. It is therefore creating an end product by continual design improvement. With or without a creator we have intelligent design evolving and improving from the begining.
My opinion is that evolution has reached the end product as far as man is concerned with the help of our creator, the intelligent designer God who is now aware that his work is soon to end. What do you think?

Ok for the pure of of having a church or maybe for the humor that goes along with making the fundies mad here is the latest on my church. Here are the rules for the House Of Max Power. 1) Sundays are spent watching football or whichever sport is on at the time. 2) Screw the starving etheopians the money donated to the church will go mainly for beer oh and condoms for people in 3rd world countries who have 10 kids. 3) You will pray to nobody and enjoy life. 4) Church bingo night will be replaced by a holy game of poker winner is "blessed" in a beer bath instead of holy water. 5) We have recliners instead of hard wood benches. 6) no kids allowed 7) More ideas...good ones only. This would really be a fun house but by calling it a "church" we won't have to pay taxes. 8) Choir books are replace by Hustler or Playboy. 9) The confession room is now the lap dance and pole danceing room. 10) Freaky girls can wrestle in the "Holy Beer Pool". Pancake fundraisers are now steak and shrimp Saturdays.

To me it was Simon Peter, i realy loved the part where God helped them with so many fish when previously they could not get any and seeing that Simon said "I am a Sinner". I thought that was really humble and honest of him.

Before answering this is what the APA says on the matter:

No, human beings can not choose to be either gay or straight. Sexual orientation emerges for most people in early adolescence without any prior sexual experience. Although we can choose whether to act on our feelings, psychologists do not consider sexual orientation to be a conscious choice that can be voluntarily changed

Ok first of all let me ask you this: If it's ok for guys to look at porn, why isn't it ok for guys to cheat on their wives or girlfriends? You might say that's extreme. then let me put it this way: Is it ok for a guy to sorta just squeeze another girl real quick but do nothing else if he's dating someone else? is it ok for him to check out other girls? then why would it be ok for him to check out a girl who's TOTALLY NUDE, with another man? Is it ok for him to indulge in sexually perverted thoughts while masturbating?

Let's say he's single. isn't he going to carry his perversion into his next relationship? Or lust after good girls who don't want him to lust after them? Won't it at least slightly, devalue the next girl in his mind? Becuz if other girls aren't worth respecting, why would she be? Another thing, if you see your wife nude for the first time, and you've never seen someone else nude, isn't she much more beautiful? what if you had been looking at porn your whole life, wouldn'

Is this significant in light of Colonel Gaddafi saying "There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe, without guns, without swords, without conquests. The 50 million Muslims in Europe will turn it into a Muslim continent in three decades." (Al Jazeera TV)
