1 John 3:4-12 (Contemporary English Version)

4Everyone who sins breaks God's law, because sin is the same as breaking God's law. 5You know that Christ came to take away sins. He isn't sinful, 6and people who stay one in their hearts with him won't keep on sinning. If they do keep on sinning, they don't know Christ, and they have never seen him.
7Children, don't be fooled. Anyone who does right is good, just like Christ himself. 8Anyone who keeps on sinning belongs to the devil. 9God's children cannot keep on being sinful. His life-giving power [c] lives in them and makes them his children, so that they cannot keep on sinning. 10You can tell God's children from the devil's children, because those who belong to the devil refuse to do right or to love each other.

According to what you quoted here, Jesus came to take away sin. When you stay one with Jesus in your heart, you won't keep sinning.

So, we all have sinned, but Jesus offers us a pardon from those sins, and as long as we maintain our relationship with Him, a oneness, we can live a sinless rest of our lives.

This is talking about committing the same sin(s), repeatedly, without attempting to change your behaviour. It shows one is only PLAYING at Christianity; therefore the habitual sinners 'don't know Christ'.
Think of it this way: a lamb falls into a mudhole; you pull it out and wash it, and the lamb, which has a natural averson to mud, stays away from the mudhole (though occasionally will fall into another). A pig, on the other hand, loves to wallow in mudholes. Wash him off, he's back in there again as soon as he is able.
Same principle for Christians. If you're a Christian and fall into sin, get out of the situation and repent. If you find the temptation too great to cope with, get away from the area as soon as possible. It doesn't mean you're sinless (we can only be that when Jesus calls us home or returns for us), but shows the right attitude and makes resistance to temptation easier.
May God bless you.

Look at Saul who later became Paul. Look at how many people he was responsible for murdering and the chaos he created while he was Saul, and look what God did with him.

So on and so forth, then you come back and tell me that I am not forgiven. I am cleansed in the blood of our Lord and Savior and that is why He went to the cross! For everyone who was before Him, and everyone after Him forever.

The Bible tells us that no not one of is worthy of His presence, but we were made for Him, by Him, so why cannot I sin?
It is not right, but that is what forgiveness is all about, and if I am remorseful and pray to Him, it does not matter what Man judges you in his beliefs.
It is His word that counts.
Go back and read some more, find out WHO is doing the speaking to WHOM, WHAT context the verb-age is in, and WHY it is said in that context.

Maybe there is something you will understand when you read about Satan having the free reign over the earth to do what ever he want to until Jesus comes back for the final battle.

Our battle is to choose 1 of 2 things. Good or Evil.

Doesn't matter what religion you are, we are all on the same planet, we all bleed, we all die, which would you choose to die for??
Everybody sins, even if you tell a fib, cheat, are lazy, whatever, it is a sin.

I think your judging or thinking is commended due to it coming from the heart, but be educated before judging others to call them sinners in your eyes.

You'd really need to read from the original text to see the true meaning, this is a case where a translation doesn't do the verse justice.

What John is talking about here are people who keep sinning, know it's a sin, but aren't willing to change. All these Christian homosexuals who think it's "ok" to continue that lifestyle are in this boat!

1 John 2

1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

The purpose of John writing this letter was to give believers the assurance of salvation and to expose false teachers.
This is our Hope in Jesus Christ and He keeps His promise.

It doesn't matter! As long as you repent (spiritually), meaning not ever doing the "sin" anyone/ you commit. Sin as in also many of the crude bad human behaviors, including your thoughts. GOD knows what's inside of you wheter you think of repent or not. And also HE knows if you/anyone else really gonna do it, without just thinking about it. No one is going to heaven with the body we have right now that contain sins...which will not sustain the "holy presence" of how Heaven really is; but it undergoes through the spiritual presence. Our bodies will be altered specifically according to how GOD wants it.

Now be good!

That's talking about sinning without repentance, Vs 8 Anyone who keeps on sinning. Meaning you've sinned and continue to do it with an unrepentant heart. Those people never truly asked Christ into their hearts. The end time says many will claim they did miracles in Jesus name and he will say away from me I never knew you. But the whole reason Jesus died was so that our sins can be forgiven. If you believe in Jesus and ask him to be lord and savior you will be saved. You sin, you repent. A true believer would bot one unrepentive sin to fester in their heart. So we stumble, fall and Jesus picks us back up. But Heaven is gained by our works, whether we sin or not has nothing to do with if we go to heaven or not. The Good go to heaven and the bad go to hell is not scriptural. Simply those who have Christ in their hearts go to heaven, those who reject him go to hell.

Anyone who "keeps on sinning" belongs to the devil.

That is true but long life and belief in God is good to stop sinning. Pray for a long life for you and your children.

Trusting God through Jesus Christ = salvation.

John himself sinned. He was a sinner. I am a sinner. Perhaps you need a bit of teaching along the lines of faith. Faith doesn't mean what a lot of people think it means when they bring it up. It is synonymus with trust. Trust God through Jesus Christ, and be saved. It's as simple as that. Are you going to focus on sin, or on Christ?

Can you sin in this life and still go to Heaven? Of coarse! Heaven is for forgiven sinners.

Can you keep living in sin after youve accepted Christ? No of coarse not! That is what that verse is referring to.
