Walaikum salam sister.
First of all i'm very proud of you...
Second to all the men here who are answering.... Get a life, she's 13 go any someone else...
Well I said im proud of you because im 21 and I just recently started to wear the hijab. I feel very good when I wear it, Im not like the rest of the sheep in the herd :)
People take me a lot more seriously and I like it that I can represent my religion to the world... and I like that men don't stare at me like im eye candy.
I always get a lot of stares and negetive attention BUT every stare gives us good deeds.
SO keep it up and keep spreading the word about hijab.

What a beautiful thing to find ur own pleasure in following God's orders, i love wearing my hijab, i live in a a western country and every time i go out i see the verse of the hijab in the quran come to being, as God ordered us to wear it so we would be acknowledged by every1 else as muslims, that we belong to His nation, it is an honor given only to women. i keep teasing my husband that every1 in the street knows im a muslim but he is only acknowledged to be one just because he is walking by my side :)
honestly, i feel precious and well protected, like a royalty; too good for the commoners!

I am proud to be Muslim, and I do wear hijab. It is an outward representation of my inner beliefs. It is a means of praising Allah. It says, "Look at me for who I am, not for what I look like."
There are times when, for the sake of practicality, I have to figure out a better way of wearing it. For example, I work with multihandicapped kids in wheelchairs. When I have to lift them out of or put them into their chairs, then my hijab is likely to get snagged in the process. Or the kids might grab onto my hijab while I'm lifting them. But that's about the only challenge I have in wearing hijab, that and the hot, humid summer in the southern U.S.!

I wear a head cover and abaya. When I wear Hijab I feel just like when I do not have it on. A lot of men have bad ideas about women and we are never seen as being intelligent, hijab helps people look past a woman's beauty and see her mind.

I wear the hair cover ad it is a traditional wearing than a relegious wearing in my town . I feel more comfortable to wear it. It is just like the shirt, the trouser...etc... You wouldn't feel good if you miss wearing them... so, by time you start to feel that it is a part of your daily life.
Anyways, I think if I have been raised in another place that the hair cover is not a social must, then probably I wouldn't wear it... especially after I realised that Quran has not mentioned the hair cover but it confirms on the modesty in the woman cloths and to be decent wherever she lives..
By the way, I keep wearing the hair cover when I travel abroad... as I think it is a cultural matter and I really feel more comfortable to stay wearing it as long as it doesn't make things difficult for me at all...
Peace!

Salam
im not muslim but my grand grand mother was muslim.
She had the Hijab, always.
Green eyes, brown hair, a very very beautiful, kind, intelligent and amazing woman.
Thanks to god there's people who wears the Hijab.
You should be proud.
For me the Hijab represents the beauty of a woman, but not the beauty of your face, hair, body, etc.., is the beauty of your soul, spirit, intelligence.
Once i had to wear the Hijab for a play on scene (im actress, i guess hahaha lol) and i wanted to use it once again.
Take care of ur self, good luck ^_^

Walikumsalam salam Sis !!
Thats nice that you wear hijab, Umm Sisi Hijab or Dupatta is a part of My national dress..so its easy to follow Hijab with that dress...Thanks God we have that facility .. and i would say i just love it..I sometimes don't follow it strictly when i am out with my family..but still i do follow my national dress code which contain fulfil the hijab requirments ! !
And my feeling for Hijab is great.I adore it ! sometimes look blessing to me..and actualy this is a psyche of my society that they respect women with hijab more than others so the additional advantage ;) !!
Stay blessed Sis !Peace be with you !

Yes, I wear it. Good, free and at peace. Some days it is hard when I get a ton of ppl giving me dirty looks.
humbled too...being humble isn't a bad thing...it reminds you that you aren't perfect (only God is) and that it is not good to be vain etc.
I am happy I have the hijab! It frees me from so many bad things in society!
EDIT: And I totally agree with what Aisha said about being protect from ppls eyes!! It is so true!

salam
i wear hijab and i feel great about it
everytime i put it on, i think, "Subhanallah! Look at the mercy of Allah. He ordered us women to wear the hijab for our own benefit. What other religion has that?"
And whenever i go somewhere with it on, i feel protected. It keeps people from looking a my beauty and it makes people recognize the "real me" rather than "outside me."
