I can smell the fear in this room through my computer... too many conspiracy theories or what I call anti-conspiracy theories (the conspiracy theory that conspiracy theorists are everywhere).
In Jesus' religion of the time (think of it as a 'fundamentalist' form of Judeism, the essenes of Qumran) it probably would have been strange for a rabbi of Jesus' age not to take a wife, even in his more 'radical' sect Moreover, it would have hurt his credibility as a rabbi. Again what we are seeing on this board are those who cannot imagine Jesus partaking in 'pleasures of the flesh' (i.e.sex leading to a pregnancy).
Now this is not a proven fact (nor is the other side's view - I noticed someone mentioned that science disproved this; I guess they don't realize how difficult it is to prove a negative; could it be because they have such 'faith' that a negative can be proven?), but it DOES resonate if one can subtract the deification out of the equation.
Future fundie attackers: notice my honesty in saying these are not proven fact; also note my prediction of your inevitable dishonesty, in whatever form that attack may take...

According to the book The DaVinci Code, Jesus married Mary Magdelene and they had a daughter named Sarah. The DaVinci Code is overall a work of fiction, so I don't know if the idea of Jesus having a daughter is based in fact at all or if it is just a fabrication of the mind of Dan Brown.
According the "Jesus Tomb" documentary, Jesus could have been married to Mary Magdelene and had a son named Judah. This information comes from the discovery of a family tomb with members whose names can also be found in the family of Jesus.

Where have you got your information from? The only place you get stories from like Jesus getting married, are from Modern day people who were not alive 2000 years ago!
Also if you are looking at the De Vin-chi Code, well that is a book of fiction, and as for the Jesus Tomb program that was on the Telly, do not forget that Jesus was a common name in Israel, like David is in Wales, John in England, Patrick in Ireland & Bruce in Scotland.
You should try reading the Bible as at lest that was written at and arround the time of Jesus' life, and you will find that there is no evidence showing that Jesus married.

People say Mary, but I just don't buy it.
Jesus was an obedient Jew who followed Jewish laws and customs, so yes, he would have been married early in his life and probably would have had children. He met Mary during his ministry, so there's no way they would have been married. Also, the Jesus said in heaven we are no longer married - we become new beings. So that passage in Revelations makes sense because he is now in heaven and doesn't have to maintain an earthly lifestyle.
I don't understand what's the big deal with Christians believing Jesus was married. He lived amongst us, so marriage is a part of "living amongst us". It doesn't change the fact that he's the Messiah, right?

Actually Jesus does have a bride mentioned in the Bible. It is the Church! See the book of Revelation.
Also see Ephesians chapter 5 for the same imagery between Christ and the Church and a bride and groom.
BTW, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Don't get carried away by all kinds of strange teaching.

Jesus didn't have a wife or kids. Science proved this false. Amazing that Religion and Science actually concur on this matter huh?
The Davinci code said that Mary Magdalen was Jesus' lover, but its called fiction!

His actual call replaced into "Jesus." back then people did no longer have final names for the main section. yet, he traveled somewhat, so he replaced into popular as "Jesus of Nazareth", Nazareth being the place he replaced into from. Christ isn't a popularity, it somewhat is a place. Jesus is Christ. Jesus the Christ. Jesus Christ. Christ is God interior of. anybody has Christ interior them. some people nevertheless use the call Jesus those days. it somewhat is familiar in some Spanish-speaking international places.

The Bible does speak very specifically of Jesus' wife. But there is no mention of a daughter. According to the Bible, Jesus' bride is his church. He is married to it.
Jesus, also speaking of himself, said that he was one of those called to be eunuch for the kingdom of God, meaning one who had foregone regular marriage or sexual relations in order to serve God full time.
So he had no wife or daughter.
