Many questions are being reported for abuse that do not contain vulgarity or insulting remarks. I know this because some of the questions I wrote. Who or which religion is it that takes offense so easily?

I'm Christian

Well I’ve see some good Christian writings, Also and I’ve seen some of the Atheist's responses to that!

Well if you do not like that kind of questions, why do you care and bother and write your nasty answers!

Why do not you skip the page and go to the other one!

I admit, I'm not the most adept at trying to decipher what the card spread means, but then, I have only done readings on myself. lol. But I'm curious, those that do tarot readings...do you do readings on yourself? If you do, how accurate would you say they are?

I'm not a religious person at all (although I wouldn't say I was anti-religious - more agnostic I think) so forgive my ignorance on this question.
But, how do we know what God did before he supposedly created Adam & Eve? Did he sit down and tell them what he'd done "Well, on the first day I......etc" (sounds a bit boastful). Or did someone "interview" him at a later date (surely not!!!?) Or is it all just made up.......?

If so, why? If you haven't given it up, what is it that keeps you a part of it?

No answers about how Buddhism isn't something you try, or how a Buddha is me, or how the tree outside is mocking me, or how in Soviet Russia Buddhism tries you...

Straightforward stuff. However, if you have to define Buddhism before you answer the question, go right ahead. This is important.

Ok, we all know God created the world in 7 days. And 7 days to him and OUR 7 days are different. How do we know that? If that makes sense....like, a day in heaven is like a 1000 to us?

...what about bad people who believe in Christ? What about rapists and Nazis and murderers or even petty thieves?

How can heaven be perfect if such people exist in it?

I have relatives who profess to be Spiritualists/Buddist. They refer to themselves often as gods/goddesses and are really into this book called "The Secret". What are the basic beliefs of spiritualists?

Hello, all! I pray that you are doing well today. Right now I want to touch on the subject of forgiveness. Oh, dear ones. This is hard. Learning to love our enemys and forgive those who have purposely wronged us is a challenge even to the kindest of people. But, whether we think so or not, it is very important that we do so. God's Word tells us:
And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father in heaven will forgive you. Mark 11:25
It is extremely important in our own walk with God, that we forgive others! If Jesus died for our sins and God has forgiven us even for the most vilest of sins, what makes us think that we are too good to forgive? And who benefits the most from forgiving? The forgiver! Forgiving is not approving, excusing, or justifying what that person did. And it is not pretending that we are not hurt. True forgiveness can only be offered when we come to terms with the reality as to what happened.

it seems that many here on Yahoo Answers are confusing the term 'Christian' with... Catholic... Baptist... Methodist... Mormon... or other groups or denominations.

Just as not all Christians are Catholic or Baptist or Methodist or Calvanist, etc., not all Catholics or Baptists or Methodists or Calvanists, etc. are Christians.

Christians are those who believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross as atonement for OUR sins, was buried & resurrected three days later.
The name Christian was first used as a deragotory term for those who chose to follow Jesus & His teachings. Later, it came to be known as those who are Born Again Believers; those who by believing in the death & resurrection have chosen to die to their old selves & be reborn [spiritually, not physically] in Christ.

Being Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Calvanist, etc. is the way in which people choose to express their religious beliefs, believe is the correct form of worship, best interpretation of the Bible, etc.

I am a Christian, please don't say I'm stupid, I am starting to dislike Yahoo! Answers since everyone criticizes everyone who doesn't believe like they do, please be nice while you answer.
Why do people clash constantly about any little bitty thing?
Why do people argue about if God exist or does not?
Why do people fight about who is right and who is wrong?
Who is better, who is worse?
Why the wars, reasonless?
Why? Why? Why?

I was raised in the lutheran church and my husband's family is catholic but the closest church to us is episcopal so I'm a little confused as to if it would be ok for my son to take Sunday School at an episcopal church. I simply want him to learn about God and Jesus like I did. I would prefer a faith where the leader of the church is able to have a family of their own.

Thanks so much in advance.

I've heard of all these crazy mormon temple rituals that are like the mason's rituals. I'm a mormon (considering leaving), but i'm not old enough to have done these "ceremonies."

If you're an ex mormon who's been able to do them, what were they like? If you have never done them, but have heard things, what were they? (please mention that you've just HEARD this though, so i know what is accurate)

Thanks!

I always assumed that sex before marriage was something christians could but was better if they didn't since I hear of several religiously-minded christians treating it as no big deal.

My parents chose to raise me as a female...and had my sex assigned to me with the appropriate operation, which removed my male genitalia.

As an adult, I am attracted to females...I feel that I am a man, and my parents made a mistake in assigning my sexuality.

What should I do? I have a girlfriend and we live as lesbians...am I committing homosexual sin for which there is no pardon?

The above is a question asked by another person a few months ago....what is your response?
