A typo means I'm infinitely ignorant? Doubtful.

I find it humorous that some still believed I was a Christian. Have you noticed my name and/or avatar. HAHA.

There's nothing wrong with my question. It's not my fault if you aren't able to understand it.

I read this question three times and am still trying to parse it out. But if I get your meaning, I think the answer is yes. Insufficient ignorance or naivete is responsible for their opinions which are considered heresy by the church.

Hey, Yoda~
What would an Atheist have to do to gain sufficient ignorance of the Christian faith?
(Yes, there IS something wrong with your question. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge. An insufficiency is a lack in the amount of whatever is considered sufficient [in this context, knowledge]. The problem right there is redundancy. Moving on: you're basically asking if the heresy of an Atheist can be blamed on the *amount* [suggesting the presence of SOMETHING] of *lack* [suggesting the presence of NOTHING] of *ignorance* [again, suggesting NOTHING, which puts a double negative in the middle of your thought, following hard on the heels of the redundancy] they *have* [suggesting again the presence of SOMETHING].)

Well, thank you. Many a religionist has accused atheists of having more than sufficient ignorance, but apparently you do not belive we're all that ignorant, eh? As for heresy, that's a rather medieval term, congratulations on being able to spell it correctly. If there is anything particularly medieval in this world, it's someone so ignorant as to not even be able to phrase their own question correctly.
Actually, nothing smacks of the medieval so much as the mindless slaves who submit to the myth of their resurrecting god without even having the spines to question and to think rationally as to whether any of the lies they have been taught make any sense at all.
Nothing so typifies the religionist as their unwillingness to use their minds and to think rationally.

Heresy? You'll be burning people at the stake next
Careful... the intolerant, brutal, torturing inner core of christianity is peeking through again... better quickly cover it up with some hypocritical garbage about not judging others and turning the other cheek.
With regards to ignorance, "insufficient ignorance" (er... that's insufficient the way it should be spelt rather than your way) is a double negative. Insufficient ignorance implies sufficient knowledge.
So the answer to your question is YES; sufficient knowledge is indeed the cause of my disbelief in your imaginary friend.

Yes we are lacking in the ignorance department. We have been taught critical thinking skills and these skills have made us able to tell fact from fiction.
Many of us have also learned to write.
Your question is very poorly worded, if it not clear to other people exactly what you are asking there is something wrong with the question.

Not always, though it certainly contributed to my case.
It still remains possible to be such a materialist block-head that the concept of a deity or even a spirituality has simply never occurred.
To modify something from Martin Luther, it's possible to fall off both sides of a horse.

Only if a Christian's perverse interpretation of scripture is enough to blame for his or her ignorance.
(This does not apply to the majority of Christians on this board, by the way.)

Generally, yes.
They are insufficiently ignorant enough to believe in talking donkeys, Noah's Ark, etc.

No, they just don't believe in anything. Religious ones believe in different things, and no matter how much you know your religion is right the other person is going to think they're right.
