Hello, all! I pray that you are doing well today. Right now I want to touch on the subject of forgiveness. Oh, dear ones. This is hard. Learning to love our enemys and forgive those who have purposely wronged us is a challenge even to the kindest of people. But, whether we think so or not, it is very important that we do so. God's Word tells us:
And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father in heaven will forgive you. Mark 11:25
It is extremely important in our own walk with God, that we forgive others! If Jesus died for our sins and God has forgiven us even for the most vilest of sins, what makes us think that we are too good to forgive? And who benefits the most from forgiving? The forgiver! Forgiving is not approving, excusing, or justifying what that person did. And it is not pretending that we are not hurt. True forgiveness can only be offered when we come to terms with the reality as to what happened.

Oh friends, there are some of you out there who have been wronged. Very wronged, by a parent, another adult, a best friend, by people that are very special to us. And though it is so easy to hold on to that pain, God takes care of it, when we release it to Him. Are you ready to forgive and release that pain to Him?

When we truly forgive sometimes we can be set free from years of pain! Sometimes the blessings just start pouring in! But, we have missed years of contentment, because it took us so long to forgive. Oh dear ones, I was so hurt by my earthly father and when I finally forgave him, it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Feel free to e-mail me with prayer requests if you wish. I love you all, Cat
