Hello, all! I pray that you are doing well today. Right now I want to touch on the subject of forgiveness. Oh, dear ones. This is hard. Learning to love our enemys and forgive those who have purposely wronged us is a challenge even to the kindest of people. But, whether we think so or not, it is very important that we do so. God's Word tells us:
And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father in heaven will forgive you. Mark 11:25
It is extremely important in our own walk with God, that we forgive others! If Jesus died for our sins and God has forgiven us even for the most vilest of sins, what makes us think that we are too good to forgive? And who benefits the most from forgiving? The forgiver! Forgiving is not approving, excusing, or justifying what that person did. And it is not pretending that we are not hurt. True forgiveness can only be offered when we come to terms with the reality as to what happened.

Oh friends, there are some of you out there who have been wronged. Very wronged, by a parent, another adult, a best friend, by people that are very special to us. And though it is so easy to hold on to that pain, God takes care of it, when we release it to Him. Are you ready to forgive and release that pain to Him?

When we truly forgive sometimes we can be set free from years of pain! Sometimes the blessings just start pouring in! But, we have missed years of contentment, because it took us so long to forgive. Oh dear ones, I was so hurt by my earthly father and when I finally forgave him, it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Feel free to e-mail me with prayer requests if you wish. I love you all, Cat

I'm so gladto have this reminder! It gets so easy to look at everyone's else's faults and forget how much Jesus has forgiven us. I learn everyday as i walk with Jesus. Some days are only baby steps but wihth the Lord with me I am at peace!
God Bless!

Well done Cat and you are right I do forgive people that have wronged me because it can separate you from God also because of the bitterness of pain because we can focus on it instead of God.

You said a mouthful, but you can be forgiving and not have to hang out clothes with the people who wronged you

You're the biggest jesus fan ever! Gosh, I wish I was the biggest jesus fan, but it seems like you already are the biggest jesus fan. The rest of us fans will have to settle for second biggest or worse, right? Oh well. Too bad for us.

You are not the biggest Jesus fan! I AM!!! My pastor helped me start a Jesus Fan Club when I was in 6th grade, and I'm the President of that Fan Club! Many many of the members of our church have joined the Jesus Fan Club that I started and am currently president of. They enjoy seeking the Love of Christ that I hold deep inside me!!! I enjoy it too, I am but a vessel for the Lord to deposit his Love. Anyone can have it if they go deep enough. But I, dear sister, and the biggest Jesus fan. As I already explained to you about my fan club. But like you say, I forgive you for lying about Jesus that way.

Hi, Cat

You couldn't be more correct. When we don't forgive it eats away at us.

"You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:9-18

God Bless you and keep spreading the good news!

Nice sermon and wonderful confession. But, if you have no question; take a break and take the sermons to your 360, or another Yahoo group. God bless.
