I'm not a religious person at all (although I wouldn't say I was anti-religious - more agnostic I think) so forgive my ignorance on this question.
But, how do we know what God did before he supposedly created Adam & Eve? Did he sit down and tell them what he'd done "Well, on the first day I......etc" (sounds a bit boastful). Or did someone "interview" him at a later date (surely not!!!?) Or is it all just made up.......?

Ultimately, above the human authors, the Bible was written by God. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that the Bible was "breathed out" by God. God "superintended" the human authors of the Bible so that while using their own writing styles and personalities, they still recorded exactly what God wanted to be said. The Bible is not dictated from God, but it is perfectly guided and entirely inspired by Him.

Humanly speaking, the Bible was written by approximately 40 men over the course of 1500 years. Isaiah was a prophet, Ezra was a priest, Matthew was a tax-collector, John was a fisherman, Paul was a tentmaker, Moses was a shepherd. Despite being written by approximately 40 authors over approximately 1500 years, the Bible does not contradict itself and does not contain any errors. The authors all present different perspectives, but they all proclaim the same one true God, and the same one way of salvation (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). Few of the books of the Bible specifically name their author. Here are the books of the Bible along with the name of who is most assumed by Biblical scholars to be the author, along with the approximate date of authorship:

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy = Moses - 1400 B.C.
Joshua = Joshua - 1350 B.C.
Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel = Samuel / Nathan / Gad - 1000 - 900 B.C.
1 Kings, 2 Kings = Jeremiah - 600 B.C.
1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah = Ezra - 450 B.C.
Esther = Mordecai - 400 B.C.
Job = Moses - 1400 B.C.
Psalms = several different authors, mostly David - 1000 - 400 B.C.
Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon = Solomon - 900 B.C.
Isaiah = Isaiah - 700 B.C.
Jeremiah, Lamentations = Jeremiah - 600 B.C.
Ezekiel = Ezekiel - 550 B.C.
Daniel = Daniel - 550 B.C.
Hosea = Hosea - 750 B.C.
Joel = Joel - 850 B.C.
Amos = Amos - 750 B.C.
Obadiah = Obadiah - 600 B.C.
Jonah = Jonah - 700 B.C.
Micah = Micah - 700 B.C.
Nahum = Nahum - 650 B.C.
Habakkuk = Habakkuk - 600 B.C.
Zephaniah = Zephaniah - 650 B.C.
Haggai = Haggai - 520 B.C.
Zechariah = Zechariah - 500 B.C.
Malachi = Malachi - 430 B.C.
Matthew = Matthew - 55 A.D.
Mark = John Mark - 50 A.D.
Luke = Luke - 60 A.D.
John = John - 90 A.D.
Acts = Luke - 65 A.D.
Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon = Paul - 50-70 A.D.
Hebrews = unknown, best guesses are Paul, Luke, Barnabas, or Apollos - 65 A.D.
James = James - 45 A.D.
1 Peter, 2 Peter = Peter - 60 A.D.
1 John, 2 John, 3 John = John - 90 A.D.
Jude = Jude - 60 A.D.
Revelation = John - 90 A.D.

You're confusing God with an energy form.

Creation forms when energy bits explode and
interface with invisible forces we know as Laws
Of Physics. Time and space are merely by-products
of this reaction. The design is a spin-off from the
atomic chart. The genetic centers are vacuum
frequencies which cause particle forms to be
lighter than black hole mass.

Today's scientist believe that when the "Big
Bang" occurred, much of the universe formed
very quickly. After that, it was pretty much "expand
and fill-in" at a slower rate.

Everyone has a theory on the origin of life. My guess
is that there is no real beginning or end. Everything,
including the "Big Bang" is just a point in a cycle.
And the universe is just an energy field that has
two stages, quantum and particle.

Someone once said that everything seen, is made
from things unseen. Unbelievable foresight.

Particle evolution theory died back in the 90's
when genes turned out to be hollow, but the
promise of tomorrow is alive and well.

Hihihi... 2000 years after that joke, people still ask about it.
Come on... Of course nothing happens, because it's not about historical reality here, but faith!
Any kind of bullshit get foundation when someone give it ground.
And make up a story, tell it to one person, this person will tell also and give it it's own twist, and the next one do the same...make this one a 2000 years lenght, and you've got Bible.
When you think humans learnd anything, BANG, Americans create a theme park displaying Dinosaurs and humans in the same picture (because bible says that God created mens and all animals in the same time...Ahahaha...) which of course is totally in opposition with Science. But if they admit that Theory of Evolution of Darwin is correct, the Bible is just a book of tales, and they cannot have that...They would be mortals, and all would finish when the day comes, death...and for most people, the end of oneself cannot be accepted as such. They need to invent something which makes life of any sort still going after death (Paradise, re-incarnations, blahblah)
It's hard to accept, but you have a much more entertaining life when you know that it's now and here. So Enjoy and be good with your loved ones, and not only because a tale book tell you so....

The second chapter of Genesis is the received scientific explanation of the creation of the universe from about 2,500 years ago. About 100 BC, they thought it was out of date so they added an extra version based on their ideas. This is the one where God spends 6 days creating the universe and then has a day off and we know it as the first chapter of Genesis

Perhaps we should add a chapter zero. In the beginning there was nothing - and it exploded. In a couple of thousand years time we'll have people arguing what a primitive belief this is and others opening museums to show that it is correct.

When we say "God created the universe" we are expressing a concept rather than envisaging him knocking it together out of etherial lego bricks. What is important to us is our relationship with the universe and with God. That's what both Genesis accounts of creation try to explain. Exactly how the universe came about is a bit beyond our puny brains.

My question to you is how or what could anyone say that would lead you to believe that God created the world and Heaven and all things in them? There are some people that God is going to leave to their own devises, because they will never believe the truth. Are you one of these people, because when you look out doors and see the living creatures and the trees and flowers and all of the living things that God created - When you inhale a breathe, hear your heart beat every second you are alive, then you should know for yourself that none of these things are posible because you, but because of God the Almighty!

God Bless You

Your question only really has validity in its present form if the early chapters of Genesis are taken as claiming to be literal truth - then the answer is either that you don't believe a word of it or that God somehow imparted his timetable to a human scribe.

If, however, you accept the idea that these chapters are there simply to answer the question, "Who made the world?" (not "How?" or "When?"), and to present that answer to a scientifically primitive people in an easily memorable way, your problem disappears.

So yes, it is all just made up - yet you still have to decide for yourself whether it is made-up truth or made-up falsehood.

both the big bang and the creation story fail a simple logic test.

IF God created the universe... who created God?

If the universe started with a big bang... how did the bang create all of the energy to happen in the first place?

*********

Both fail the first rule of thermodynamics:

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

By Einstein's theory of relativity: E=MC^2... All matter is just stored energy.

Find the source of the energy then you'll have the truth.

PLEASE READ MY TRUE STORY IN 2ND PARAGRAPH

Instead of answering your question in scripture, which I am sure lots of people have done, I want to appeal to your intellect. Would you build a house on 2" of ground? Well you couldn't could you? There would not be enough room. So more feasibly, you would need more space, and if you were going to create people to live in a space, how much would you need? Bearing in mind that God knew how much space he would need, he therefore created a universe, and guess what? It keeps explanding! How clever is that! I believe in God, and that his son Jesus died for our sins. Can I tell you a story? it is true.

Here goes. My oldest son (aged 14 at the time) was going to church regularly and I could not understand why he was there twice a day on a Sunday. At 13 he wanted to get baptised, and as I never had him christened, I allowed this. When he was 14 he was knocked over by a car and died instantly. Our lives were shattered, and I have 2 other sons living. On the day of his funeral I could not stop crying, but I am a proud woman, and just wanted to go there with my head held high and I prayed to God to help me (I had no faith at that time), to go to church with my make up in tact (I was 37 then). In my chest was a pain like an axe that was lodged. I did not want to get into the car but I did. I did not cry. I looked at the coffin and thought my Paul was not in there, he was in heaven with Jesus. This gave me a lot of comfort. Then as I got to the church which is only small, people were oozing out of the doors because there was no-where to hold them all. Over 300 people attended his funeral. After the service as I came out of the church, I realised that although I had shed a tear or two, that the pain in my chest had disappeared. It had been with me for days. I stall had the crematorium to go through, but I can't tell you. I knew my prayer had worked, it was like a miracle, and my friend said that I looked "radiant". I know Jesus did this for me. I started reading the bible, and I believe every word of it. When I go to the beach, or sit in the garden, I look up at the sky and it overwhelms me. You should try it, lie in the garden and look up into the sky and let the wonder of it fill your senses. Only God could make it. I call it his watercolour. (I like watercolours). You may think I'm "touched", yes I am, by God. I am proud to say that and I hope you and others reading enjoyed my true story. Also I would like to say that a friend of mine prayed for me to have dreams of my son, and I have had the most wonderful dreams, and did not know she had prayed that until about 6 months after. God bless you all.

well, if you're a believer, you must believe that God told Moses exactly what happened during creation. But do not take Genesis too literally. the rabbis of the Talmud said that there are many secrets in the Creation story, that were not meant to be revealed to the public. you may not like this, but that's the way it is.

Hi

Try some music in the pastime , i guess it would be much better

anyways

So About Afam and Ave , Yes God did spoke to them , But it all seems weird to us because we have never experienced any such thing before so we simply cant just imagine!

So it's not at all boastful .

I think you should spent some time studying religion rather then trying to find ways to disapprove it.

Take care
