I admit, I'm not the most adept at trying to decipher what the card spread means, but then, I have only done readings on myself. lol. But I'm curious, those that do tarot readings...do you do readings on yourself? If you do, how accurate would you say they are?

I rarely do tarot for myself , we do tend to see what we want and not what we need
although I can manage to disconnect slightly from it

but what I will do is give myself an angel card reading , where the cards have words
and this gives me a little guidance on situations

I read for myself, and I always learn something, either about myself or what I'm reading about. I'm more interested in the question "how helpful was the reading" not so much the accurate part. I use the Tarot to move forward more then to give me answers. So I guess my answer would be Yes, and fairly.

Lots of people will say that you shouldn't do tarot readings for yourself because you won't get an accurate reading. I've done them for myself for years and never had a problem with accuracy. The cards are just a tool to connect with "spirit". Any divination tool is just that.. a tool.

Experts in numerology use the numbers to determine the best time for major moves and activities in life. Numerology is used to decide when to invest, when to marry, when to travel, when to change jobs, or relocate. Numerology is an occult science and for me it's fascinating. It is perhaps the easiest of the occult arts to understand and use. All you need is the birth date and the complete name of an individual to unlock all of the secrets that the numbers hold.

I have trouble interpreting the readings for myself, I am not an objective observer.

Kallan's right, doing your own reading can often be a failure in that we all have a tendency to not be very objective to ourselves and our own ego, so it's best to get one from someone else, and someone who's not a kook btw.
