I was in prayer before and I was in tears because of the sins I have committed. I know I will never be perfect only God is, but it seems like I struggle over the same things over and over again. I feel emotions of sadness and some regret. Years ago these sins would be like no big deal now I grieve over them

Have you ever felt a lot of emotion of what you have done or what you have failed to do? What are good Bible verses to overcome sin and to be more Holy? Thank you in advance for your answers and peace be with you.

As an example, for me its been "Dont be judgemental of others" and "be kind to everyone you meet, for we all fight our own personal battles".

How about you?

Does it not add up to anyone else that it is unfair to say that because a person was raised differently that they should spend an eternity in hell. I was raised to be a christian and perticapated in christian organizations through high school, then one day I decided to think for myself, I don't want to be a part of anything that judges others. As a christian I remember thinking that anyone who was not a christian is evil, and I really truely believed that, then you meet people from other countries with other religions and realize that they are moregenuine than the people you went to church with. I think hell is a great scare tactic to get you to convert to christianity, why should a religon need scare tactics?

Then is the past growing too? With no beginning it can only be infinite. And if it's infinite shouldn't the past still be growing, if it had an end point, then that would be the beginning.

"Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, it takes religion." Steven Weinberg, Nobel laureate

"Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." [ref]

This is NOT a yes-no-wait for prayer to be answered.
That is not what Jesus said! There is no 'no' only 'yes'
Was Jesus lieing. If we all pray to cure cancer sincerely and in faith we all know cancer will not disappear but Jesus spoke very clear that it would whats the deal!?

Face it, we don't have salvation on the brain every waking moment. Could our salvation rest on a single opportunity many years prior if we just didn't think about it after that? Our lives are not a continuous opportunity is what I'm saying.

Please know that this is a loving rebuke.
I have noticed many questions on this forum that believers
have answered , without perhaps first studying for the
correct answer. For example , I just read through a question
that said simply , Can satan tempt God, I saw many no answers. I few Yes answers. And only one maybe two correct answers. I do not have all the answers, and if someone ask
a question that I do not know I will either study it or say I do not
know. This in my opinion is a better witness than just saying
what we think or have been taught. It is so good to read for
ourselves and study to shew ourselves approved. I would like
you to consider the following scriptures please. And thank you
so much for giving an ear to hear.

Pro 9:7 ¶ He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked [man getteth] himself a blot. Pro 9:8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. Pro 9:9 Give [instruction] to a wise [man], and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man], and he will increase in learning. Pro 9:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

Around him shone an iridescence
Bombs dropped-he knew he had to stay.
Where had it gone, that confidence
He had that day he sailed away?

Remembering some words he had,
He'd copied them while out at sea;
He pulled them out, his heart turned glad,
As sitting, he began to read.

That verse his hand held tightly there,
"Do not fear, nor be dismayed;
The Lord is with you everywhere."
Encouragement this verse conveyed.

His mind began to wonder to
The Lord of all who sent His Son;
To die for me and die for you,
So we could live with Him as one.

Then suddenly there came a crash,
He realized he was back at war.
The time had come to run and dash,
The verse he had his hand still bore.

He ran out in that open span,
With courage, though knowing he could die;
Yet knowing his God had a plan,
With God forever he'd stand by.

I can't take credit for this because it was written by my sister. What do you think?

Give me something that is not a script or verse from the Bible (and it doesnt count if you put anything that states that you are proof, it isnt always that simple) that is proof....

1. That Jesus was not just a carpenter boy,
2. There is actually a land flowing with milk and honey, cause by now, it would be the land of Cottage Cheese and Crystalized Rock, mmmm tasty.
3. Us witches are evil.
4. Homosexuality is a sin.
5. There is such thing as a sin.
6. There is such thing as evil.
7. Your Bible isnt actually a bunch of either made up or stolen property from other religions before you.

Answer freely, its not like you Christians are gonna get it anyways.

Please, so many among you seem to be stating things like "The Law prevents us from hurting others"

How does boiling a goat in milk, eating shellfish, wearing multiple fabrics, eating pork, not putting a woman in a tent on her period, and etc, harm another?

To me, it seems you think the law only applies to moral actions, and miss out on the fact it applys to societal and economic ideals as well?

Where did the dinosaurs come from? Scientist tell us that dinosaurs evolved from small lizards 200 million years ago. If that's true, where are the intermidiate fossils? How come we don't see in the fossil record the transition from small lizards to 10 ton behemoths. Take triceratops. We see a dinosaur with three horns, large bony plates, and plates running down its spine. Where are all the links leading up to this dinosaur. How come we see no dinosaurs before 165 millions years ago, and then all of a sudden, they appeared. And they all appeared with no evidence of evolution.

Could it be that maybe the Bible is correct, that God created the dinosaurs after their kind with no evolution taking place. And maybe the 165 million years ago was really 6,000 years ago, on day six of creation week?
