Ask your friends to provide serious references to back up their claims. That'll probably make them go silent pretty quickly.

I can't help it if you and your gay friends covet some of the stuff the pope wears. That's your problem.
And while there's way too many gay priests and bishops in the Catholic Church, I doubt the pope is one of them.

I've been reading about him since he was elected pope and I've never heard that said. Your friends are misinformed (or prone to slander).

as a gay man I confirm that rumor, a man in drag with red shoes is a dead give away, i have excellent gaydar, but as a gay man he needs to lighten up on abortion and gay's right to marriage, he just doesn't want to upset the people that placed him there, religion is so phony
