1. That Jesus was not just a carpenter boy,
Drawing down the Sun would be your ritual to cause a Christ to walk the earth.!!!
///Measuring out the spiritual power on the man as he can handle it would be my Gods way.
By two years old Jesus was able to tell the difference between Gods will ,his will or an others will.(Say like a unwanted Goddess's will since she greater right)
///no possession needed...thus the man has free will and doing Gods will and speaking Gods thoughts.
2. There is actually a land flowing with milk and honey, cause by now, it would be the land of Cottage Cheese and Crystallized Rock, mmmm tasty.
Triple Goddess you worship is the same symbolic comment.(aspects of "Maiden", "Mother" and "Crone")go to bed with a maiden then think shes your mother and wake up with a "Crone" mmmm tasty.
3. Us witches are evil.
only when you can't bring a man under your control.
4. Homosexuality is a sin.
"All acts of Love and Pleasure are My rituals"OR an act of Worship/Charge of the Goddess.
Witchcraft and the Book of Shadows (2004)
For me it would be stay clean and raise children in a relationship of duotheistic.(The Goddess and God are seen as complementary polarities and this balance is seen in nature. They are sometimes symbolized as the Sun and Moon)
5. There is such thing as a sin.
displease the Goddess for you.
to speak against Gods spirit for me.
6. There is such thing as evil.
to hate. For my law is love. says the Goddess and everlasting life will not be yours. For you could not find the Goddess(love) within you.
to love is my Gods will to.
7. Your Bible isn't actually a bunch of either made up or stolen property from other religions before you.
Dearnaley, Roger. An Annotated Chronology and Bibliography of the Early Gardnerian Craft. Kou Ra Productions. Retrieved on December 9, 2005.
Wicca
Much of Gardner's rites and precepts can be shown to have come from the writings of earlier occultists and other extant sources, and the remaining original material is uncohesive and mostly takes the form of substitutions or expansions within unoriginal material. Roger Dearnaley describes it as a patchwork.
bible
The Christ his self said that he was Quoting from the book of Enoch.
Enoch the bible writer that i know of.
The Church Fathers were next to keep account of the happening before Jesus arrived.
Read there writings and you will find they are quote through out the bible.

1. Read Lee Strobel's "A Case for Christ"
2. That was a Hebrew euphamism, kind of like people saying that America is the "land of the free" when we have the highest incarceration rate per capita in the world.
3. Well, if you don't want a bible verse, fine. But if God says witches are evil, then they are.
4. Same as #3.
5. Sin is a transgression of God's law. If you have a different definition, then perhaps your definition is what's incorrect.
6. Let a murderous rapist come and do his handywork on: you, your mother, your daughter or anyone else you love, and then tell me there is no evil.
7. Hmmmm...tough one there. Only that the Bible was written by people under God's direction. After all, Moses only had to endure 40 days and 40 nights of being in God's presence such that he found himself glowing in the dark.

*sigh*
This Question and the following answers to this make me sad. Why is there so much anger? Why is there so much negativity? Spirituality should bring positive energies ... healing energies to all regardless of what path each individual choose to take.
"... God is love." 1John 4:8
God is The Divine is love.
1. Does it really matter to you who Jesus was?
2. I believe you can compare Summerland to The Land of milk and honey.
3. Not all Christian believe that witches are evil.
4. Not all Christians believe that homosexuality is a sin.
5. Sin - as someone pointed out is "missing the mark". If you feel that you've committed a violation that violates your moral code - then you've committed a sin. Even witches in this context can sin.
6. There isn't evil but I'm sure you'll agree that PEOPLE have evil intentions in the world and thusly do evil deeds.
7. Does it matter if the Bible is a collection of stories from other religions if it changes the lives of people who feel they have no direction?
WHY DO YOU WANT PROOF?
Let people follow their own path. Don't judge them - unless you are truly encouraging others to judge you and yours.
Use your time to educate and encourage religious tolerance please, don't feed into making the divide larger.

In the first chapter of "Mere Christianity," C. S. Lewis discusses the "Law of Nature"--a sort of rule or standard of behavior upon which all parties must agree in order to have what he calls a "quarrel." ("Quarrel" in this context might be defined as "an intelligent argument.")
"Quarrelling," he goes on to say, "means trying to show that the other man is in the wrong. And there would be no sense in trying to do that unless you and he had some sort of agreement as to what Right and Wrong are; just as there would be no sense in saying that a footballer had committed a foul unless there was some agreement about the rules of football."
And so we come to your demands for "proof," which I'm afraid no one will be able to provide to your satisfaction. Not because such proofs don't exist in many forms--you must know that many scholarly volumes have been written about all these topics, many of them by far more insightful writers than you (or I).
But to be able to comprehend and appreciate those proofs, you would need to have some sort of common ground with the one who presented them to you. And I'm not talking about an adherence to any particular religious doctrine. I'm talking about a basic, fundamental belief that there really is such a thing as right and wrong. At least five of your points could be put aside until the basics were agreed upon, but I'm afraid that number six is non-negotiable. If you really don't believe in the existence of "evil," then no one--not even the most brilliant and persuasive writer of our age--would be able to "quarrel" rationally with you about any of the other issues.
I could say "its not like you gonna get it." But I sincerely do hope and pray that one day, you will.

I'll answer the important two by asking a counter question. Do you believe that there is such a thing as evil? If not, then the rest makes no difference to you and it makes no sense trying to convinve you otherwise. If you do believe that there is such a thing as evil then the concept of sin has to be valid. How you categorize what is evil and what is sin is certainly open for debate.

See,
Jesus was a carpenter - true nobility is born of humility.
The land of milk and honey is symbol - most people are smart enough to comprehend that - triteness doesnt serve you well.
Homosexuality isnt a sin - but rape sure is....
Sin is anything that causes you to suffer - check a dictionary on the etymology....
And I've never really read the bibliography of the bible because I use it as a comtemplative tool - not the end all be word of God.....he gave us brains to use them.....
Calm down - you might find your genuine path between your anger and your hurt - but not while carrying a major grudge.

"you Christians" huh. How about all you narcissistic Atheists and Agnostics that must require some extreme proof, such as you must see to believe. Christians have a lot to believe in, just what exactly do you people have to believe in? Absolutely nothing, therefore you have nothing to base your morals off of. So basically "you people" have no morals.
it's okay, it's not like you would understand anyway.
Edit: Oh by the way, "Us witches". LOL! There's a reason the wiccan section is in Mythology and Folklore.

I HAVE had the guts to read the Bible - All of it not the nice New T bits. I'm not a X-ian or an Athiest - & I agree with the sentiment (if not the zeal) of the question.
As far as an answer - I'd suggest "Tradition".

I am sorry but I agree with the others. You don't realy want proof because you negated the bible, and a persons own experiances with God. I believe that you are fighting God right now and you are trying to find reasons to say "see I told you there was no proof". What proof, beside your say so that there are really witches, other than your own experiances of course? But I guess you witches woundn't get it.

Since I'm not 'gonna get it anyways', why take the time. Good luck with that witch thing. By the way....Love Charmed! Blowing up demons with your hands and freezing people. Cool, but I'm just a simple minded Christian who doesn't understand the Wiccan Warrior Powers.
