God does not fit in a test tube. Read Matthew 4. Could Jesus have done the things Satan told Him to? Sure. But He didn't because HE IS GOD, not a trained poodle.

God is an unscientific concept, by virtue of the fact that God is unfalsifiable.

However, from a philosophical standpoint, considering the immeasurable number of natural hypotheses that are possible, and the fact that a supernatural one (much less the Christian God, as opposed to one of the other gods or a god or gods that NO ONE knows about or worships) can only even be logically CONSIDERED once ALL natural hypotheses have been exhausted, God is the ultimate improbability.

Most people will say with complete (and understandable) confidence that "I won't get into a car accident today," because although not impossible, it is quite improbable. And no one faults them for that--no one gives them a hard time for not wasting time entertaining such a small probability. Most people also don't walk around worrying about being hit by a stray bolt of lightning, and for good reason! The chance is low enough that it's not worth concerning oneself with, or wasting time fretting about.

And yet, there are people who will claim that they're CERTAIN that not only a god, but THEIR God definitely exists, which is something that is SO improbable, SO much more improbable than getting in a car accident and getting hit by lightning in the same day, even (!), that just how low the probability is is pretty much beyond human comprehension?

ABSURD.

Yes, there is a God, the Christian God.

You can get a personal answer about His existence, without any reasonable doubt, if you look for it sincerely. It is personal, therefore, science is not able to systematize it. That doesn't mean it is not possible. On the other hand, as with any human organization (if you know anything about business management, you know this is true), not matter how objective scientists tend to be, there will always be a "political" or "etiquette" factor (known in "organizational behavior") which will reduce the relevance of anything "supernatural" in the eyes of others, no matter how well researched. Therefore, you will have to do the "tests" yourself.
If you go humbly to God knowing He is a person, you may find Him.

Probably not.

1. Define god.
2. If you're talking about the Abrahamic god, then I can disprove him for you.
3. The tools of science are unable to find an answer because of the nature of science. Science is the gathering of empirical evidence in order to make accurate predictions and useful manipulations of the physical world. Because of what science is, it cannot deal with the supernatural. The supernatural becomes unpredictable, untestable, and unrepeatable. Hardly scientific.

I believe there is a God, because, at least to me, Life, the Universe and Everything wouldn't make any sense otherwise...it seems illogical to suppose that the universe, and especially life, just "happened".
Science is a great tool, but it is limited to the physical universe. God is not a physical being...as a matter of fact, God is not a part of the universe at all. God is a spiritual entity.
I hope you find what you are searching for.
May God bless you!!

Scientific evidence founded over many years of research is way better than listening to a story book. If I were to go back in time and replace the bible with "The Idiots guide to Rugby" would everyone now being playing Rugby and treating it as a sacred religion.

Science cannot answer because scientists are too busy trying to disprove the Bible. But even Einstein said that the more he studied the galaxy, the more he believed there is a God. I dare you to do something, I dare you to ask Him to reveal himself to you, see if he doesn't. There is no way that the Earth is so perfect in how it can support life, no way that all of your internal organs function so perfectly in sync with one another so well if it was all by accident. Believing in God is a matter of faith, and once you know it, you REALLY know it. There is no doubt that He Lives.

Yes, God exists. Why does He exist? You'll have to ask Him that. Scientific tools measure the physical. God isn't physical. He's spirit.
