My father was baptist and my mother catholic. Both my parents decided to allow my brothers and I to explore and discover our own spirituality and adopt whatever religon we wished. I and my brothers I suppose are agnostics. I am happy that they did this for our family, what about yours? Would this work, do you think it would be better or do you wish this had happend to you?

should we be held accountable for our temptations, which are dependant on our temporary bodies, when we're left with only our souls? These temptations will ultimately disappear, and we'll be free of them when our bodies are no longer living(again, assuming God exists and he will punish us for acting wrong). So, is it right, in your opinion, to be held accountable for eternity for our bodies that are susceptible to sins (in god's eyes), when after death we'll be presumably 'above' those sins and no longer subject to them? Is this some sort of strange game? anybody.....?

So many churches baptize "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" It's not the same.

Jesus never took upon himself of no reputation. But he told in Matthew 28:19 to baptize in the "name" of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 28:18 he said All power is given unto me in heaven and earth.

Acts 2:38 & 39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you and to ypur children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

How do you explain this away? Do you never slow down to see what the scripture is saying? Is something wrong with the name of Jesus? Are you ashamed of him? Did you know he died for your sins?

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

I mean really, why do some of you cling to this notion we're all miserable with your fantasy god? Is it that difficult for you to comprehend that people can be happy without your god? What about buddhists and hindus then, are they miserable without your god?

Is that the only way you can feel good about yourself and your beliefs??

simple question. if you don't believe that jesus was responsible for all the killing in the old testament then you can't believe that he is the same god in the old testament. don't give me your "we believe in a trinity." all that means is you believe that three different entities are making up god in which case each individual does not make up the whole. to say "god" in this case is more like saying the "god club." if any one of them sufficed as being god then there would be no need for the other two. to say there is a need for all three implies that there are limitations to each seperate individual. your thoughts?

Why don't most lower church Protestants attend church everyday as they often quote to Saturday sabbath keepers that everyday today is the sabbath? (This belief on everyday sabbath stems from a biblical verse found in Galatians I believe)

Catholics and Eastern Orthodox Churches are open everyday for Christian worship. They also regularly practise prayer and the breaking of bread every time they worship God which is also mentioned as common practise of the disciples in NT scripture why not in Protestantism?

Rather than Traditional Christianity is?
Many articles on this subject:

The Jewish Messiah known to a few Jews as Yeshua is definitely a different Messiah compared to the Hellenistic anti-semitic Jesus Christ that the Church proclaims. Yeshua is a Torah observant Jew observing the Shabbat (sabbath) and commandments of Moses, teaching that those who teach against Torah are lawless (without law) and not His followers.

When a Christian judges them as one big group...and yet, they do that to us every day all the time? Just curious...getting a little sick of people saying, "You can't generalize a whole group of people by one person's comment"...you do it to us on a consistant basis. Cry me a river.
