No.
That would like saying that since you have a heart, and a mind and a body you are really three.
Think of Christ as the heart of God, broken because we treated God badly.
Think of the Holy Spirit as the mind of God, given to us that we may understand what God wants of us.
Think of God as God, the Father.
Just as a person is not a person without a heart or a mind God is not God without the Messiah and the Holy Ghost.
God is not a person, but, God can be a person when God chooses. God is not a spirit, but, God can be a spirit when God chooses.
Isaiah 46:8 Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors. 9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

The short answer to your question is "no". Christianity is not polytheism.
You have also misstated the doctrine of the Trinity. There are NOT 3 entities making up God. There are 3 persons and one entity/essence.
Each person of the Godhead has a separate role. That does not make that person of the Godhead "limited".
The Old Testament follows a pretty simple pattern of:
1. God does something good.
2. Man spits in the face of God, rebells.
3. There is some sort of price to pay for this rebellion.
4. God Redeems the repentent.
This pattern foreshadows the ultimate redemption that comes through Jesus Christ.

Apostate Christianity is indeed polytheism disguised as monotheism. According to the trinity, the Father is God, the Son is God, and the holy spirit is God. Isn't that three Gods? It looks that way to me. But then trinitarians say that the three are not really three Gods after all. Instead, they make up only one God. It's no wonder so many people are confused.
The Bible is clear how many true Gods there are. At John 17:3, Jesus called his Father the ONLY true God. What could be more plain than that? Since the Father alone is the true God, then Jesus and the holy spirit can't also be the only true God too. That would not make sense.
True Christians do not believe in the unscriptural trinity doctrine. They reject it as a false man-made teaching.

My gut reaction was, "You got that right!!" Ah, but this gut reaction is not my answer to your initial question, which is "Isn't Christianity polytheism?" Christianity is not polytheism, but Christians believe in polytheism, although they will deny it tooth and nail. True Christianity is monotheistic, as are true Christians, but there are hardly any of those in existence.
There is no biblical support of any kind of trinity, so the true Christian teachings do not talk about a trinity. So no, Christianity is not polytheism.
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.... all polytheistic gobbledeegook. Hokus pokus stuff.
There is ONE God, ONE Entity, ONE Divine Being. You're right, if there were more than one, then they would be contingent upon each other - dependent upon one another - and God is not contingent upon anyone or anything. In fact, He Himself created contingency, so how could He ever be contingent Himself? He is not His own creation!
Christians say that God the Father needed the slaying of God the Son in order to forgive. Needed, my @ss He needed! God needs NOTHING, and can and does forgive, and His forgiveness is not contingent upon anything, not even a slaying. God can and does forgive as He pleases, and doesn't need blood or sacrifice or hallelujahs or anything to forgive. The only thing required is a penitent heart, that's it.

Jesus is the God of the old testament, which is why he claimed to be in existence before Abraham. But "responsible for the killing?" If Adam and Eve had obeyed a relatively simple command there would have been no killing. I blame man (i.e. us).
And the only limitations are those on the human mind which can't comprehend how one being can manifest himself into a father, son and holy spirit.

No you are completely wrong.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light. The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. "
(Joh 1:1-14)
So to simplify Jesus is the word of God. Jesus existed before he was born of a virgin because he is God. The father is God and the Holy Spirit is God. I know you are having difficulty understanding the trinity but it is not too complicated.
It is a bit like saying that this particular man is called Jon is a farmer, he is a father too and is a footballer. So although it is the same person he has different functions and characteristics of his personality. It is all one person but distinct characteristics of the same person.
Now with God, Jesus said if you had seen him you had seen the father. So Jesus and the father are the same in nature and are both God but functioning differently.
To illustrate, Jesus said that if his temple (body) was destroyed He (Jesus) would raise it again. But in the gospels is plainly swaps between the holy spirit, Jesus and God raising him from the dead. Truth is it is all the same God.
Deu 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. "
Isa 42:8 I am Jehovah; that is My name; and I will not give My glory to another..
There is no other God. There is only one God he was called "I am YHWH", it is translated Jehovah but it is actually a word that was too holy to actually say and had no vowels. Translators called it YAHWAH and also Jehovah. Jesus said on many occasions that he was I AM and for this he was crucified....for claiming to be God.
In summary. There is only one God. God does not give his glory to another. He could glorify Jesus because he is God. Jesus has always existed, the father has always existed, the holy spirit has always existed. He is God. God is not created he has always been. Jesus was called the word before he was born in human flesh. Jesus created all things, God created all things.

Actually, a careful reading of the old testament shows that the god of the Hebrews was one among many. The commandment "Thou shalt have no god before me" is only one of many instances in the old testament where Jehova suggests that there are other gods but that he is either the supreme god or at least the Hebrew people should worship him as such. Jeshua ben'Joseph, or Jesus if you rather, is purported to be the son of the Hebrew god. All of the names of the devils and angels in the christian book are actually names of gods and goddesses of other peoples living in the middle east. To suggest that christianity is in anyway monotheistic is to admit to never having read their books.

There is not such a thing as a Simple Question!
My though!!, I think you are barking to the wrong three.
1.-, been a Yahoo best contributor, per-say, you don't know that without God, there is not, in the same order, Spirits, and Not Jesus. So, as to God been the consequence of the other two, Holy Spirit and Jesus, your question make not sense, because your bases are wrong.
God, the sole and only creator, of senses, intelligence, with this perception and mind, (which is the material condition God made a consequence), Before bringing the Energy of His beloved Son Jesus, to become and born into the material existence.
What none believers atheist and scientist don't want to understand is that, God isn't from this World, and HIM doesn't own anything to then and to know one, the thing is you believed or you don't, there is your own cause, and the effect been produce by such cause will be of your own responsibility.
Nothing, means no-senses, and truly matter and the substances of matter, have never have any senses, God gave the matter, substances and elements to pursue senses, and spirituality, despite that the first useful emanations of matter's, where the spirits, which where been persecute by Satan, to be use as energies to continue pushing matter's, and the substances to achieved changes by mutation, in short, Non-Intelligent changes.
To continue expanding, and (God word) assimilate other energies and elements and matter's, to continue feeding Satan, which will ABSORBED, (word of matter'), a/o "assimilate" substances, elements, and more matter's, and anyother piece of trash that within the not so emptiness of space can find, to continue, mutation which as you well know, doesn't means the same as "Evolution". been a believer is perhaps a gift, such as the Gift of Intelligence, which is something universal, and God can take it or give it, to whom he thinks, is of better use, and that will happen to matter, when the Humanity create by God, finish his task to learn the formula of the the substances to support a material Body, and in the essences rebuild that Body, in a new World. and its not you, who need this, but Your own Spiritual being, which is more real to me, and to God and Jesus, that your own self.<>
One thing you are right is, in the polytheism, why?, because yes Jesus need for us believers to see HIm also as we perceived the Father, because that was the first Cause of God to achieved, to make him, Jesus the Son, King of Kings.

The Christian God has multiple personality disorder, or so we are lead to believe by his followers. I believe that he/she/it is probably a very wonderful God, but that his followers do too much talking in his name. His followers make a great deal of trouble for Pagans and Gays! And their reasons are very petty and at times stupid since Pagans aren't Christians and they don't worship the Christian God. Their idea that their God and their religion is the only one makes no sense what so ever. The I'm right and you are wrong attitude isn't the way to draw people to your religion, so how about changing your advertising method? Why not make a "Whack a Mole" type game that allows you to whack as many moles as you can and you can change that moles religion to Christianity. You can say that you are driving your point home for your God. Goddess bless them poor little moles!!!

well your right, the bible doesn't teach a TRINITY. although christendom does, but you have to know that their not TRUE CHRISTIANS.
THEY ARE THESE DESCRIBED BY THE BIBLE
(2 Thessalonians 2:3-12) 3Â Let no one seduce YOU in any manner, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction. 4Â He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called “god” or an object of reverence, so that he sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god. 5Â Do YOU not remember that, while I was yet with YOU, I used to tell YOU these things? 6Â And so now YOU know the thing that acts as a restraint, with a view to his being revealed in his own due time. 7Â True, the mystery of this lawlessness is already at work; but only till he who is right now acting as a restraint gets to be out of the way. 8Â Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence. 9Â But the lawless one’s presence is according to the operation of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs and portents 10Â and with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved. 11Â So that is why God lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie, 12Â in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness.
Jesus said he would not accept those FALSE CHRISTIANS (Luke 13:24) . . .Exert yourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door, because many, I tell YOU, will seek to get in but will not be able,
